Feature Article Feedback: Hero’s Guide to the Waterworks

In the utmost south of Moria, caught between two terrifying regions of peril and shadow, lies the strange serenity of the Waterworks. Here, cool mists and wide stretches of calm water create an ethereal atmosphere that simultaneously mingles grandeur and reflection.

Wow! Kudos to whoever wrote this guide. It does a great job building up the tension and excitement.

But how did no one mention the true king of the Water Works: Hypnotoad?

    All Glory to the Hypnotoad!!

Back, on the subject! OMG! That looks so cool. I am particularly impressed by the sheer scale of some of the areas. The screenshot with the waterfall is just breath-taking. I can't wait.

I bring word from Lord Elrond of Rivendell. An Alliance once existed between Elves and Men. Long ago we fought and died together. We come to honor that allegiance.

As if I needed any further cause to be excited out of my mind about Moria. Excellent article - very good at building the hype and drawing in the reader. Cannot wait to try out that instance involving the Watcher in the Water!

Awesome! I love the way crystals give the light instead of some torches which is quite an old technique. Huge waterfalls, wow, I hope there is a racket inside and you can't hear anything but waterfalls, like in the end of Book 13 .

Yes, I don't recall the specific passage from the book, but the movie certainly made it seem like it was a LONG way down and the first few things you hit would not be water.

Jeffor just said where you would end up, there was no mention of your condition at the end of the journey.

I assure you it is, and I don't recall landing in water.

Not that landing in water mitigates falling damage in LOTRO anyway, right?

That waterfall south of Eavespires didn't even look that high...

Water does mitigate falling damage, just has to be deep. You can test this at Trestlebridge. Thats one long fall, breaks your legs for what seems like forever but you live.
