Lottery broken this weekend and today?

There's no lottery today. No lottery this weekend (even though we were told to check frequently this weekend).

Was something announced that it's down?

There were multiple lotteries all weekend long (some still going on in fact).

The Friday lotteries ended on Sunday evening instead of the usual Monday AM. The Monday lotteries have not started yet (because they always start at 3PM Eastern time, still an hour away).

Lotteries can have long entry times and short reset times or short entry times and long reset times. There is one I know of that's currently about 2 hours to enter and almost 12 to restart. So if you missed the 2 hour window you would have to check back 12 hours after the last lottery ended. Then you'd have another 2 hour window to enter it before having to wait another 12 hours.

Also, keep in mind many lotteries have level requirements. If you aren't within that lotteries level range, you'll never see it.

Also, the repeatable lottos this weekend were for various medallions (Moria, Lothlorien, DG) so they were probably 50/55+.

It's been working all weekend long. I personally had been obsessively logging in every 8 hours throughout the weekend entering my characters into the Medallion Lotteries.

For the Medallion Lotteries that were repeating, only those L60-65 characters were eligible.

As for the other Lotteries, they could only be entered once, so if you entered on Friday and had no characters eligible for the Medallion Lotteries then that's all there would have been.

If you aren't showing as entered into the Highday Lotteries though, and aren't showing any Lotteries available when you click on Enter Lotteries, you might have a Cookie Issue in your Browser. Clear your Temporary Files and sign back in to my.lotro.com and see if that fixes it.

I love the lotteries. They help me out a bunch. I guess I didn't check at the right 2 hour window , but I did check very frequently on Sat & Sun.

Should I be checking at like noon and then every 2 hours when these happen again?

The lottery was available to be entered over the weekend. Splitting hairs sometimes leaves you with nothing but a frizzy head.

I enjoy the lotteries too. They are very helpful.

I was eager to participate in the weekend lotteries. But my highest character is level 44. I checked again and again on Friday and Saturday and Sunday. It was frustrating to never be eligible. But more frustrating is looking and looking because you were told to check, since it's random. But there's nothing, nothing, more nothing...

Even if you aren't eligible it would be nice to know. It seems to take some time to log onto My.Lotro and then off again. At least it could say, "Better luck next time, the current lottery is for level 60 and above." Better yet to not be left out, even if you may just get minor items. It makes a difference to feel lucky at something.

Especially if none of your favorites are winning the Hobbit or Dwarf races.

It would be kind of interesting to see a page that lists all the current avaliable lotteries, and details about them. Maybe with a forward looking calandar to show which ones are coming down the pipe for like the next week or something too. But i would guess that is another one of those things thats dont give a date about when something is supposed to be incase it doesnt happen.

I'd love to have a way to see which lotteries are currently running along with the rewards. I have often clicked enter on all characters too quickly to see what the rewards are and then there's no way to find out. It would be better to see the lotteries and rewards whether you are the right level or not and whether you are already entered or not. I'd be interested in seeing what will be available at certain levels so I have an idea of what I can get in the future. It would also make it much nicer to know WHY you can't enter the lottery when there is supposedly some going on (e.g. too low in level). I didn't see any lotteries over the weekend other than the normal Friday to Monday ones.

Sapience, even if it's too much work to set up a page that lists all active lotteries, do you think it might be possible for you to put a up a quick thread with details when the lotteries go up? I think it would make a lot of us much happier with the system.
