Here's my two mainly played characters.


Filorin - I got the shoulders randomly from a quest, and dyed them to match and boom. The helm is a loot drop I think, but dyed as well. I like it. Its not art or as snazy as some of y'all who make some amazing looks. Can only say that I do dress myself =)


Dwozlin - this is mostly a set of seven father's armour (dwarf love!), but the shoulders were selling for far too much in the AH so I found some that look just like it, but a heck of a lot cheaper!

Glad I have posting rights so I can say YAY for this thread, I have been an avid follower I can easily waste a LOTRO session just messing about with an outfit.

These are two of my favourites, for my warden, because they used some not-often seen items.



The first is crafted Dwarven top and trousers (level 40something I think, possibly radiant, although they can also be found as random drops) dyed Navy, with the warden Moria shoulders and boots, and Scout's gloves. The second is the purple Moria medium set with the Minstrel's Moria shoulders.

The heavy Moria purple set is also pretty nice, and again, not often seen (on my server anyway )

As long as you have the shared Wardrobe slots you can share cosmetic looks between characters, even if the item can't normally be worn by the other character. This is because the Wardrobe doesn't store the item itself but rather the appearance of the item. So the Minstrel can put his armor appearance in the Wardrobe slot, log off, log on the Warden and equip the look.

This only works with the Wardrobe slots since without them there is no way to transfer bound items (assuming the minstrel shoulders were bound) between characters.

Which one looks better, and in either case, should I switch out the cloak for Cloudmantle?

Now that my low-level Champion created for the sole purpose of doing tasks (she has gotten to level 18 just from daily task turn-ins, which I farm with a higher level character and send to her), I can wear the awesome task reward cloaks. This is my outfit for the Eager-Beaver cloak.

i have been working improving my fearless armour all along, finally at lvl 65 i can't find an armour cosmetic that likes me more than the one i'm using:

Levi had been enjoying a nice quiet retirement for a while before happenstance pulled him back into adventuring. Therefore, his armor doesn't have the shine of all these new heroes. He can still take a punch with the best of them though.

It's a boring olive and is honestly just mid level armor for the most part, but it fits the look of my character so well. Old bulky armor that is sooo thirty years ago...but he would look so out of place in bright new shiny armor. And I love that shield! I replace it when I am doing tough content but I carry it whenever I can get away with it.
