Well, right now it isn't updating the character information at all. I'm guessing because something on Turbine's side is broken. It seems like almost everything about these new forums were broken as rolled out.

I love LOTROHerald and use it quite a bit. Not having up-to-date character information is a pain, but I'm hoping they fix it in the next week or so. And while I don't have an Android, I do think you guys should have your own app! :-)

The server responsible for providing the character information to LOTROHerald is in the process of updating following all of the changes made to the game. There has been a significant influx of returning and new players to the game, which obviously means ALOT more characters to track.

Once a baseline of all characters across all the servers has been made, keeping up with changes to each character from that point forward will be much faster.

I have had other users of LOTROHerald contact me with the same concerns you have about their character data. They have already started to let me know that their characters are now up to date. I expect this same trend to accelerate quickly over the next few days.

There is an update to LOTROHerald on the way that will add the four new game servers to the app. It is currently waiting for review at Apple and will be made available as soon as it is approved.

You guys need to post this app on the android market as well!! I want this app but I have the Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S phone) and it runs with android. Please get one up for us! Haha

Yet another +1 for Android. Had this on the iTouch I borrowed when I took and iPod/iPhone programming course. Loved it. If you need help porting it over for Android, let me know. I have been teaching myself Android coding.
