While I think you are referring to the poor development of late, I am not sure.

I think what you will find is that many will use this thread to support the poor development choices.
Why should they listen to any of us with valid concerns when other players will gladly attempt to discredit anything that is said.

Though you don't always get it right, and mercifully you often realise that, and perhaps some of the the content isn't always as good as it should or could be, for the most part it is.

I still love this game, and having just read the whole of the Lord of the Rings for the first time in 10 years I'm actually staggered at times how well it all connects to the novel.

Thanks very much for a wonderful 5 years, and I raise my glass to another 5 years. Looking forward to Helms Deep.

How about this:

No matter what you do, 50% of the people will disapprove, 50% will approve, and 50% won't even notice.

I would watch it if I were you. You come incredibly close to violating one of the rules:

14. Impersonation.

Impersonation includes, but is not limited to, using images or signatures to suggest you are an employee or any person other than yourself. Making statements claiming you are someone other than yourself, forging, editing, or otherwise modifying posts of a moderator, Turbine employee, or forum member (i.e., “fixed that for you” style edits in quoted texts that change the wording or meaning of a post in an attempt to embarrass or misrepresent the original posters comments) is not permitted.

Actually, the only reason why you don't cross the line is that you quoted the post correctly and then wrote your own version outside the quote box. If you had actually copied and edited the quote to how you made your reply you would have definitely crossed the line. The infraction is not just for impersonating a Blue Name but any poster.

Posting "I fixed it for you" replies even the way you did it could possibly be an infraction so it might be a good idea to think carefully before hitting enter.

As for the OP, you have your opinion and others have their opinion. My opinion is that while Turbine does not always hit it out of the ballpark, they do a good enough job for me that I will aways cheer them on. I have enjoyed Turbine games ever since I started playing Asheron's Call. And I will continue to support a Company that is based out of my home State.

Until those who complain can write, code, develop, publish and advertise a better game to satisfy 100% of their subscribers, there's nothing to worry about (i.e.....ain't gonna happen)! Those people simply can't comprehend the complexity of the coding of a game of this magnitude. Yes, there are flaws, everyone will admit that. However, in my opinion, considering the size and magnitude of the game, the flaws are miniscule and easily overlooked.
