any word on the lotteries?

The sad thing is, the lotteries are a very low priority thing for them to get up and running.

I havent seen a lotto in the previous 2-3 festivals, and to do them manually seems to be to much work to do for whomever is in charge ( more important to set up some moneyscheme for charity instead ).

It would be really nice if some loving were given to this part of the game again, it was ( I wont say is, since it is most likely dead by now ) a good and fun part of the game to log into the forum and participate in a lotto from time to time.

And yes, you can call me a negative nanny or whatever you want, I feel it is a disgrace that this hasnt gotten up and running yet.l

Ever since they hosed the community site's data features, I've had nearly 0 reason to visit the site... Before the page revamp, I'd visit nearly every day to peek at my char stats and pop into any available lottos... Unless the lotto comes back I'm rapidly falling out of any habit to peek at the site or forums.

Lotteries are currently in a "questionable" state after the power issues of a couple of weeks ago. The team is looking into getting them back up and fully functional, but until that happens we aren't going to take a chance with running lotteries that don't work as intended. I do not have an ETA for you.

At least I know now that I may as well stop clicking the lotteries page. Thanks for letting us know.

Also I understand the notification could be percieved as late because you had people working on it and were actually hoping to get it resolved rather than having to stop lotteries for a longer time.

If i had to choose between useless lotteries and useless hobbit presents, i would choose the presents. However - the lottories are still a vary adored part of my LOTRO experience, and i would love to see the trash raffles return!
