The Red Company, Laurelin Server.

' If Gondor has been a stalwart tower, we have played another part. Many evil things there are that your strong walls and bright swords do not stay. You know little of the lands beyond your bounds. Peace and freedom, do you say? The North would have known them little but for us. Fear would have destroyed them. But when dark things come from the houseless hills, or creep from sunless woods, they fly from us. What roads would any dare to tread, what safety would there be in quiet lands, or in the homes of simple men at night, if the Dunedain were asleep, or were all gone into the grave?'

The Red Company are a mixed race kinship on Laurelin server. Whilst primarily Dunedain, we have been joined by many allies from the Free Folk and our ranks now count Eldar, Naugrim, a few Hobbit folk and even a pair of Beornings from far Rhovanion.

We are low to medium RP (holding a dedicated RP evening every Tuesday), we also raid (with a raid group composed of characters using XP disablers to do all raids on level -as the Valar originally intended- and assist each other with quests, crafting, and journeying through Middle Earth.

We have established our own neighbourhood outside Bree at Red Stable and our folk are found across Eriador and further afield. We're looking for dedicated, mature players. Those who are prepared to log in a few times a week and join us as we journey through the Wilds of Eriador, battle in the Mines of Moria, thunder across the Westemnet in Rohan, and storm the walls of Pelargir in Gondor.

We welcome both new players and veterans who are seeking new challenges or new allies to face old foes. The days lengthen, war is upon us, and Minas Tirith looms large ahead; the Tower of Ecthelion shines like a spire of pearl against the gloom. Ready your blades and fear no darkness !

Note: Laurelin is a dedicated RP server. Restrictions are placed on character name and behaviour. The kinship is most active Euro time (evenings) but we have kinsfolk from Canada, the US, and Malaysia.
