    A bit of help needed:)

    Hi,

Finally going to start to level my Mini to 105 and start serious grouping again. Sadly this means i need to work on my healing-weapon. (I still heal with a lev 85 second-ager, which still serves me well for everything T1, but we are now moving into T2CM-territory and i think i might be better off with a lev 105 FA...)

My healing book looks good, so thats a non-issue.

I have collected the Anfalas scrolls needed i think, but i am very unsure about what legacies to choose before/after imbuement. Some are obvious, but some are not.

So if anyone healing T2CM's have any pointers at what a decent Healing-weapon should look like after imbuement at 105 it would would make my life easier.

(And if you ever end up in Stockholm, i'll buy you a couple of pints of course)

    Cheers
    /T

This is my opinion of the legacies for a PvE healing weapon.

    (Must Have)

-x Rally! CD / +x% Major Ballad Healing
-x% Healing Skills Induction Time / +x Healing Skills Critical Rating
-x Triumphant Spirit CD / +x% Triumphant Spirit Critical Magnitude

    (Good)

-x Still as Death CD / -x Song of Distraction CD
+x Anthem Duration / +x% Melee Skills Critical Magnitude
-x Call to Ioreth CD / +x% Call to Ioreth Healing Skills Critical Magnitude
    +x Will
    +x Vitality
    +x Fate

    (Not Recommended)

+x% Soliloquy of Spirit Healing Magnitude
    +x Agility
    +x Might

I go with Rally cooldown, TS cooldown, healing skills induction, SoS, Anthem duration, Still as Death cooldown, and Call to Ioreth CD if I remember correctly. I actually don't put will and vit on my sword.

Hopefully your book is also max level (100 FA) because the rating over lower levels is significant.
I'd explain it to you, but I'm all out of Puppets and Crayons.

I miss the days when you really wanted Rally on a swap weapon. Now there are so few desirable legacies I almost feel silly for using one.

Yeah, I quit using swaps at all. No swap book, no swap weapon. There's just not much out there to have to choose - trait trees have almost made the choice for you sadly.

I healed Dome T2C with my dps sword yesterday - I wondered why TS cooldown seemed long, but nobody died and we got challenge. I didn't even notice until afterwards. :-/ Sad.

I'm the same with my choice of healing weapon legacies but I still have a swap unimbued book primarily for the War Anthems legacies, tactical and physical. It's a group so you should be slotting legacies to help the group and once the group is buffed hit your heal anthem for yourself, all up before the pull. Ofc I have War Anthems on the imbued damage book too for grouping with equally equipped minis. It's also one of the things you can do to keep you busy, not just spamming bolster and falling asleep. Weapon damage legacies ofc are a big disappointment but I still avoid stat legacies.

    I disagree.

A yellow mini can add so much dps to a fellow and if most of the skill points are dropped into blue line you're still a more-than-adequate healer.

To do this effectively you need a yellow line book with anthem of war phys and tact mastery maxed out, and a blue line one for strictly healing raids/fellows.
    Irin r8 Hunter // Arngar r8 Burg // Akthuri r15 LM // Vishus r5 Captain // Curad r11 Mini < RETIRED // ACTIVE > Ursamajor Beorn // Babayaga LM // Kleptomania Burg // (Anor)

But you dont need to leave any legacy out if you have anthems there? No too big needs to have separate book for healing/buffing/dps.
2 weapons Heals/DPS and 1 book for everything, is how I roll.

In my buff/heal/dps book there is:

    +50% Light damage
    +25% Healing & motivation skills
-120s Cry of the chorus CD
    +25% Bolster courage heal
    +6300 Tactical mastery anthem buff
    +6300 Physical mastery anthem buff
    +216 Will

I dont know if '+25% inspire fellows healing' would be anywhere near necessary in yellow build..?
But could just switch that +216 Will for that if it would be.
(seen quite many having that inspire legacy but I quite really doubt that its too useful..)
(bolster courage is almost without induction when you can stack anthems of third age in yellow)

    Already discussed...

    Hello there, fellow Minstrels!

As the title suggests, this topic (and variations) have already - recently - been discussed on these forums so allow me to gently point towards the piece I have provided on minstrel Legendary Items:
    https://www.lotro.com/forums/showthr...llow-LI-builds

    @ Tenuke
Even outside yellow but definetely while specced yellow Iinspire Fellows Legacy is great! Yellow mini's only reliable AoE Heal that you should be spamming (especially with the 4-piece FI set). And even if it wasn't that great it is still most certainly better than +Will as (also discussed before) it's contributions to Outgoing Healing are terrible.

And while you can debate how good some of the healing legacies are for the weapon, in reality I found that most of them just aren't... SoS/Distraction/CtI/SaD you can live without, 100% of the time. Firstly most of them won't help you outside blue spec and even while speced blue it's mainly BC spam anyway.

    Hope it was helpful
