I got my Beorning up to lvl 91 and am going into West Rohan. I don't know if I missed something but suddenly, any random bad guy (lvl 86) is really hurting me. Man or Bear, it's the same. I was using red line. I just want to solo and have fun, but the damage I am taking makes it frustrating only. I thought I knew how to use this character. The man hits harder than the bear, but both are getting hurt equally badly. This is new. Up to this point, I have been MUCH more survivable.

Plus there's quite a leap in mob (and gear!) strength from 85 to 86, so if you still have 85 gear you should get some better, especially Legendary Items make a huge difference from 85 to 86.

Make sure that you're going after heavy armor. I know a few people who kept doing medium armor after the recent changes.

The man hits harder than the bear

The bit where you say man hits harder than bear makes me wonder what weapon you're using. Dual wielding doesn't scale in bear form (only main hand counts towards bear damage) so always use a 2-handed weapon or you'll do way less damage than what you're capable of.
