    The common US English meaning of date through date is that it ends at midnight (Pacific time specifically, which is 3 AM Eastern next day) of the day that is the last day. So through May 11th means just that, US time. How that works out in the other parts of the world, I do not know exactly. Thus, the confusion that regularly happens.

    It is 3am server time (US East Coast time) on 12 May (so 8am in the UK, 9am in Continental/Central Europe). This technically means that the last full day is 11 May (the quests always reset at 3am server time).

    Originally, the end was scheduled to be at 3am on 11 May. However, as the servers were down for a length of time when the celebration started on 20 April, 24h extension was given.

    For shorthand we use "through" the last full day of the event, but our world event system switches things off at 3:00 AM Eastern. Essentially Midnight over in California. There's no perfect way to do it, but when we say "through" a day, it usually means until 3:00 AM Eastern on the next day. We also formally use the 3:00 AM date in various places, particularly the LOTRO Event Schedule.

    Checking the LOTRO Events Schedule linked in your post, the Anniversary end date appears incorrect i.e. date for next year;

    15-Year Anniversary Gift 4/20/22@10am 4/1/23@3am

    unless it is referring to something about using the gift? not mentioned in the official Anniversary page where it states;

    Make sure to log in between 10:00 AM Eastern on April 20th and 3:00 AM Eastern on May 11th to pick up your “Happy 15th Anniversary” gifts!

    Thanks for the answers but the main point i wanted to know is if i can get the special 15 year gift lets say may 12th 01:00 AM eastern because the official statemant says it ends may 11 at 3 am

    but in events shedule @Cordovan wrote

    " ((Note this is for the 15-Year Gift Box in game, not )) the special "Log in during the Anniversary Event" gifts, which are available until 3am Eastern on the 12th of May." [Dont know how to properly quote]

    so is the chance to get a valar on may 12 at 1 am EASTERN given or not?

    Thanks in advance

    Yes, this. The special log in gifts during the Anniversary event need to get picked up before 3:00 AM Eastern on Thursday. Your typical Anniversary log in delivery runs on the usual schedule, which is until April 1st of the following year.

    But.... I only have to log on to ONE character, correct? I have logged on to about 8 or so, but there are 30 other toons on various servers. At least for the yearly anniversary thingies, if I log on to that toon 3 years later I still seem to get all the goodies because I logged on ONCE already on some server, somewhere.

    I think you have to log into each server once within the allotted time frame but that might be out-of-date information.
