Since you said Gundabad I'm going to assume you have daily quest in your quest log? The Battle at the Forges or Battle at the Lofts is bugged in that it shows messages the battle going on inside of the public instances, you can just cancel the daily quest till you want to do later, you just return steepset are in mattugard if want to do them.
