What's the plan? Have the servers up ASAP? Or have them flicker to life around midnight because the headstart is supposed to be on the 8th?

I'd say, if it's like in the past, they'll bring them up when they're ready to come up and stay up. If they think there are issues with stability or other issues that won't have them working, then they won't be up. The clock isn't what they go by, server reliability and completion is.

hmm no official ETA on the servers coming up,( only official word is the 8th (with a think a mention of a chance of being able to patch or log in a bit earlier if things go extra smoothly) what an ETA about full patch notes being released/published? can we get an "as soon as possible" AKA "it might have already happened", or are patch note incredisoon?

If so, that's one patch mechanic that's going to make me VERY sad. There are a couple of spots in Angmar that receive the "revive" treatment from me almost every time I go near them just because it's so much faster than crossing 1/5 of the zone in a perpendicular direction.

My original guess was midnight est, being that that is the 8th. which would link up with their play on the 8th deal. That would give folks chance to start patching before bed, and wake up early a.m. and get going.
