Re: So are the MyLOTRO blogs broken for everyone else?

Same here for me (Infinite loop and Sorry for inconvenience).

I already reported this error in some previous thread.

    Some background info:
    I'm a EU player (Estel).
Everything worked fine for more or less one week after the migration. I was even able to create two blog entries. Since the beginning of July, it stopped working.

When logged in, I can't access
    - my blog and my blog admin (infinite loop).
    - Other's blog (infinite loop).
    - Kinship detail page (infinite loop).
    - "My character" pages (Sorry for the inconvenience)
    - The Recent Blog Posts widget returns "Error: Unable to load the feed "

When not logged in, I can access
    - Other's blog.
    - Kinship detail page.

    Additional info:
My kinship ("Les Maîtres Artisans", on Estel) doesn't show up in the Kinship research page.
As a consequence, every character search made on one of its member ends up with the
"We apologize for the inconvenience" message. This message pops ups whether I'm logged in or not.

    Some examples
    - Grugni (My account, No Kinship) -> Success
    - Thralinor (My account, Kinship member) -> Error
    - Azeradan (A friend's character, Kinship member) -> Error
    - Ashrane (One of my wife's character, Kinship member) -> Error
    - Gwendalis (Another friend's character, no Kinship) -> Success
    - Anyssa (Friend in another kinship - Sidh Elenath - that shows up in the search) -> Success

    Hope this helps.

Got the "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience." when attenpting the following pages :

    Preferences -> My Characters Settings

Any page from the Characters tab relating to the last two characters that where scanned (Ang and Cugal, on Snowbourne, whichhappend to be the characters I use the most)

Finally, I get no response if I click on the Kinships tab

Looks like I'm one of the "victims"; Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience.

I was able to see two of my characters located on the Withywindle server (Bryana, Arandriel). But I was never able to see my characters located on the Snowbourn server (Napolde, Shariva, Alindra, Carinthe, Ramariel). Looks like the characters are there, seeing as I see one of them in my sig.

Same problem here. I Think the chars of EU-Servers should be shown now, because the AndroidApp MyLotroChars does. But I only get the errors described in this thread.

    Still the same problem here.
It works only when I leave with my characters my kinship which was migrated from the EU server Maiar.

    Hello!

I look all my character in snowbourn, but only one character full of detail (Kilwen). This is my latest character. All the other displays an error, "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience."

    Please solve the problem. Thanks

SAme rpoblem since more than a month ago... I wouldn't mind to have RoI a month later if they repaired this error, really, I prefer 1000 times to solve errors than new content.

It seems that are bugged the characters of the old kinships, becasue all new kinships I know, you can see their characters. Old players in new kinships I can see them, but old or new players in old kinships I can't.

I have a similar problem as Kildaros. My latest charachters (two lvl 6 little char) look full of detail. All of others display the regular error: "Error: An error occurred while processing your request. We apologize for the inconvenience."

    Thanks in advance:

I can confirm this. I have just created a small kin to test it. Members of the new kin are displayed with details. The kin and everything which has to do with the chars works fine.

    So please fixe this problem!!!!!!!

Currently testing this theory, I'll make screenshots later on to prove it, I left one of the error chars, left the kinship, then i logged off and E voilà! I could see the char and wasn't bugged... now still testing if I rejoin I gain the error again, if not, then we know the solution of the problem if I gaing the error (that I'm 100% sure I'll have) then its a problem of old kinships, not new ones, becasue I know some migrated kinships fairly new that doesnt' have that problem.

I did it allready but it is great if somebody could confirm it. It would also be nice to know if it is a migrated kin or an old US kin. Also the name of the server would be nice.

My kin is a migrated EU kin on Maiar.

SEems it affects to OLD migrated kins, not NEW migrated kins.

I tried that, my main is kinless after I left my old EU kin, mylotro is still bugged. Created a new kin with my alt(s) to test that theory leaving my main kinless, mylotro is still bugged. It's not a big deal really. Back when codies ran the EU servers we didn't even have mylotro. Can't miss what we don't know .

It may take a while, until mylotro "knows", that yout char is kinless. (and, of course all your chars need to leave the "old" kin)

As written before, i joined my old Maiar kin with a char on my former US account. Account became broken (with all the know error mesages and infinite loops) after that. After leaving the kin accoount works fine again. (half an hour or so after leaving the kin)

I see 2 problems which the programmers have to fix:
    1. "old" kins missing in mylotro. so the update programm may be broken
    2. missing kins break mylotro character pages and account
Wer Hilfe will, muss Informationen liefern.

As I just said on another thread, unfortunately we still do not have any progress on this particular issue. The good news is that with the website's character update program online again, we've tackled one part of this issue.

I really wish I had better news for you guys, but we are still looking into this and we'll try to get you an update as soon as we can. We still have no ETA for when this set of problems will be fixed.

Complete my old thread, I realized that my only full detail character not a member of my kinship yet. All of kinship data, including the data of kinship member characters is missing from mylotro database. If I will enter that character to the kin, it's data also will be lost?

Same here, this "Beta" board is a big pile of bugs if you ask me, and I'd like to finally be able to actually read people's blogs, edit my character preferences, change my character-signature, and every other bit that's borked while being logged in.

I've filed a ticket through the link Celestrata provided over 3 weeks ago, but there's no way to track forum bug tickets, nor any communication about a fix or the root of the problems. I didn't even receive an email acknowledging the receipt of my ticket, so I guess that's another section of these forums that is still in "Beta".

    Please fix my lotro!
