I can't log in to game at all. So is it a server issue or total game issue?

My chat log says I just disconnected from the server; I will be mindful to not cross regions if I can and maybe I can stay in game.

Boo, I tried to change zones and got rooted/stuck then booted from game. Now back to the same old "Searching for Logon Server"

Sapience do you know if the "installing pre-reqs" hang is the same issue as the login server issue? I can't get past that on the launcher.

been moving to different zones without any problems. Seems fixed for me as of 11:20pm EST

EDIT2: Nooooooo 20min later tried to enter MD AH and froze at loading screen.

Yes it is. However, do NOT leave your launcher running hoping it clears up. Usually if it hangs that way long enough it stays hung and you have to restart even if everything is fixed.

i have the same issue as pretty much everyone else here, but i want to thank sap for responding and letting us know that the issue is being worked on.

i got my client to work a little bit longer than usual after a reboot, so i thought it was safe to venture to the front lines of the pvmp combat. quick push forward, i go to throw a heal on somebody, aaaaaaand freeze! my skills are highlighted like they are about to go off and nothing is happening. suddenly all the creeps and freeps ignore one another and begin their daily workout running in place weapons in hand ready for battle, if the other side so chooses to stop running in place. was the most interesting stand-off i have ever seen in the moors. i stood their for a moment confused, then ran back toward the nearest keep expecting to crash any minute. i went through the backdoor into the keep. Big mistake! i was then frozen in place. however, i could still use the chat functions, and was talking with several friends who had not had an issue. (yet O_O ) was funny seeing the chat in ooc about the action that was going on though, while it seemed to me as if every one had stopped for a quick in place jog :P. honestly i have no idea where my mini actually ended up, idk if it made it back to the keep or is still on the battlefield somewhere. who knows? it will be an interesting login when i am able to login again XD.

now that i know whats up (kinda) with the connection issues, im still curious as to whats up with the lag. as someone earlier mentioned, the kin im in went to try flight t2c and locked on the summoner wave, though we were able to complete t2 normal without to bad of a lag issue. i understand that such things can be hard to figure out, but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what might be causing it? (maybe it was the servers preparing for their uprising ? O_o) i saw that sap said its prollay networking, but as of right now, does anyone have any more info on the issue? or possibly, something that we can do client side to tone down the amount of lag? (also noticed that the lag seemed to be in waves, or spurts, having huge lag at one point with like, nothing going on, then no lag during a big raid v raid (ish) fight.)

anyway, i cant wait to log in again, i wana see how far i got toward the keep! :P

The weirdest things are happening.

For some reason only one of my characters can move around freely, while my boyfriend's main (who had miraculously unfrozen) re-froze when entering a skirmish. His character's model was stuck in a weird pose the whole time, and remained so even when he tried to log in with one of his alts. The alt was however also stuck on the loading screen.

You just need to have the proper perspective about this. For example, this is a GREAT excuse for me not to hop onto Brandywine and summon folks up the beacon, as I commonly do while puttering around the house.
