Portraits are suppose to be coming tomorrow but I did not receive my next portrait last year haha.

The VIP frame is a separate thing from the yearly portraits - so you can either choose to have the VIP frame, or the yearly ones.

I'm guessing they've not released the anniversary portraits yet because America is still asleep, but we should see them before the end of the day.

As of April 15th 2015 8:15am /servertime, I still do not have the new custom character portrait. There are also no new cosmetics for this festival (other than the mount and warsteed caparison). I think someone dropped the ball.

Or the devs just haven't got to work yet - seeing as no one has got their new set of rewards yet, how about we just wait until the end of the day, and then complain if they haven't activated by then?

all is good so far the box's we received were for the anniversery FESTIVAL box's they havnt even rolled out the year boxes and portraits yet.

Yes, all we can do is wait. I figured it was something that would be turned on based on a scheduled task or at a specific date/time. I guess I'm just taking the marketing too literally:

"The gifts will be granted to your account at the beginning of our anniversary celebration in-game on April 15th, 2015."

They did turn on all of the anniversary festival quests and the rewards vendors before the 15th, which is odd. I'm really hoping that they sneak in new cosmetics like they did a couple years ago. *fingers crossed!*

That's a rather considerable delay, particularly as the anniversary information was only sent out recently:

'When will the gifts be granted?
The gifts will be granted to your account at the beginning of our anniversary celebration in-game on April 15th, 2015. These will be based on the status of your account* as of 11:59PM EST on April 11th.'

That is obviously a typo that went unseen, that date correspond to past year aniversary. I do recommend to correct the typo ASAP to prevent more confusions.
