Re: Usefulness of the Skill and Power trait

That quote is my favorite orc quote from the books, so that's why I commented. I know I watched those LotR cartoons when I was young, but I don't remember them that well. I had an awesome uncle that loved Tolkien (he read me the Hobbit several times before I was 8), but he hated those cartoons so I was mostly shielded from them.

I do remember that Hobbit cartoon, which I was "allowed" and I used to love. Now I can't stand it, especially some of the songs, and then there's the blue-skinned elves.

    Anyone remember David Wendel's illustrations?

Wish those cartoons had used him. Thorin looks so regal, and I love the way he interpreted the book's description of Gandalf's eyebrows.

So the Elves are really the Navi who invaded Middle Earth?

Its been a while since I saw the cartoons. All I remember is that the Elven King of Mirkwood did not look like an elf, but a stunted huorn with skin grafts.
