Some additional information for you. We've started an official discussion thread on the subject of the five new instances coming in Update 5. Rise of Isengard is Update 4 (for those counting).
Not exactly...he answered you on this in the other thread....but it would be good to note it here...
If you preorder RoI, you get the instances when they hit later.
If you buy RoI *after* it launches, via the Turbine Web Store (not the in game store) you get them.
If you buy RoI in the in-game store, you don't. But - and this is a guess - that sort of implies that there won't be an "RoI Expansion bundle" in the in-game store...(unless thats still undecided) but that it will be sold in segments.
idk why they changed it all of sudden if i'm not mistaken moria xpac and SOM xpac were in store and if i remember they came with the instances no 100% sure on this cause i had these before f2p i know lorien was seperated from moria xpac so had to buy lorien quest pack to get access to HOC,WW,HOM
What really bugs me is that they keep pushing you out of the in-game store to this web based one, instead of keeping a single currency for buying things in-game.
They have the Turbine store all set up, already selling quest packs and the like, but they keep pushing another service to take money.
But why pay another service like digital river to handle your sales, when you already have an in-game store taking payments for an in game currency - Do Euro players not buy using the in-game store? Just seems silly to pay another company, make your players set up another account with yet another service, just to buy your product when you already have the facilities set up to sell it yourself.
The only thing I'm really disappointed about is the lack of a solid plan for a new PvP map/zone. I can handle getting some instances a bit later on. I've been hoping for some new battlegrounds ever since it was mentioned by Turbine.
...why? ignoring the fact that's kinda disappointing for people that only want to play freep side, what kind of effect is that going to have on the numbers out there? i'll admit i wasn't expecting access for free, but to not even offer the moors as a purchasable zone is crazy imo.
Updated the OP to add the newly released information about the instance cluster. I hope this satisfies most of the frustration and uncertainty people have been feeling, and that we'll have somewhat brighter weather here for a while![]()

Roses are red, Polar bears are white, if you meet one at night you'll get quite a fright.
As for my creep chars, I do not want to see all the many infamy sponges geting into my way at all.
As for my freep chars - I am more than happy with masses of fresh, inexperienced and tremendously undepowered reavers. The more opponents - the merrier. In the worst case freeps can ball up in Ost the whole day.
Baroom! Baroom!

What you don't realize is this is just the eye. Better strap yourself down for when the other side arrives.
