Why can't I get credit for monsters my fellowship kills? This is a serious change, a serious issue and a serious reason to not group with certain classes or too many people in open world!

Because Contribute status is not applied at the fellowship level, its at the character level. Your character has to heal the mobs target or contribute a point of damage to get credit for the kill

DEBUFFS do NOT count for credit

TAUNTS do NOT count for credit

This is great advice! You finally get past Examine programs and you get hung up on Examine Game Data. You were so close! So exit, wait 5 minutes and start launcher! Now you get hung up on Examine Programs!

At least you're not stuck at Examine Game Data anymore!

I posted that answer because it was suggested by Turbine in another thread, and because it eventually worked for me, personally.

I really dont have a good answer. Its a quest-flow issue that my head isn't having much luck with today.

This definitely needs fixing. Was complained about during beta but perhaps too late to get a significant rewrite of "open tapping" which is advertised as a major feature.

Basically no advantage to being in a formal fellowship while in Rohan, except for the chat channel and fellowship wide healing. If you lag everywhere else in the game but are with a fellowship you get credit for the kill for purposes of deeds and quests; in Rohan no such luck. If you're grouped with a hunter or champion who kill things before you even notice they are there, you are out of luck.

Seriously, things have been solo friendly for so long that I think they honestly forgot that players sometimes group up in fellowships.

Great FAQ! Thanks for making this public. I have one issue (or a friend of mine does) that I didn't see anyone else mention: While grouping last night, I got the Remote Looting icon, but my FS partner didn't. Is there a box he needs to tick? He already has the "loot all" option checked, but that lovely icon never showed up for him, only for me. He even tried logging out completely and coming back in, but to no avail. Ideas or suggestions?

If you have "always loot all" enabled, the Pending Loot queue window only comes up if your bags are full.

If I have tried the close launcher, open launcher to try and get past the "Examine game data..........waiting" problem 10+ times, what am I meant to do?
