    I still like my LM

First, I don't claim to be the best LM out there, rather I consider myself average. With that out of the way I want to tell you about my first experience running Sunken Labyrinth (T1).

The group make-up was two hunters and my LM; not your typical set-up. Two of us (myself included) had never been to the Sunken Labyrinth and the other guy had limited experience and he didn't think we would be able to do it at level 100 with the group we had. I decided to run it traited yellow for the stronger debuffs and Herb Lore, which we used for a number of pulls. I used the bear to tank for us. Now, some fights were challenging and we had some "deaths" along the way. We failed the troll on the first attempt. But in the end, we completed the instance. The bear did a remarkable job tanking the bosses. In fact, we did the half-troll boss with no deaths at all.

Bottom line, it was fun to run a (more) challenging instance with a non-standard group make-up and made me appreciate the LM versatility yet again. There may be those who read this and say, "big deal, it's easy," but for me, a casual player and average LM, if was challenging and ton of fun.

I still love my LM. Likewise, I consider myself average (at best), but just wanted to add that for Ruined City T2 CM, LM can be the sole dps. Yes, it's not the old role, but there is a place for the class on the new T2s. I write this as on my server at least, I know LMs can have difficulty getting invited for the trios. So I wanted to give some encouragement that we are viable in the dps role - especially with maxed out imbued LIs. Also, on the final boss, some of our support skills are actually really useful - firelore on the boss, perma-mezzing the 2 harrowing spirits and, when running it with a sub 40k tank, throwing a few spot heals when the tank was DOTed.

    Thumbs up

I love my LM as well! She is not the best one out there either, she is playing for fun and belongs to the family kin, so she still needs more experience with big group runs. My husband and I decided to take my LM and his guard to duo Sunken Labyrinth (T1), there were some deaths as well, because we were trying it for the first time and learning the enemies. AND we don't have those huge amounts of morale as other players, we have more defensive builds, so we don't take so much DMG. It was very interesting to try the new instance But what I am really surprised is that running with two hunters your bear was able to tank the whole instance! That's amazing Congrats!

Looks like I should have called this, "The average LM thread." The bear was most helpful on the bosses. I'd send him in and issue his Roaring Challenge, which held got aggro for long enough. Since the hunters were dealing with adds it took longer for them to pull aggro from the bosses, but by that time (or not too long after) I could issue Roaring Challenge again. For the groups of trash, I would Herb Lore, mezz one archer and the hunters would take down the other (when there were two of them).

Try doing it with a blue line rk/red line Lm duo its a blast t1 , after learning the jist of the instance it was fun tanking it. granted no rewards for t1 but we were bored and wanted to get a understanding on how the two 3 mans work so we did then duo t1.
