    Stat Levels

So after returning to the game after a long break, I've just got a couple of alts to level 100, and started gearing them up for pvp. I'm somewhat confused at the moment by the claims that freeps can easily run with capped OC/FW mits, capped crit (including crit damage), 30k morale and 60k+ mastery. So I'm curious of 1) is this while wearing pvp armour set? and 2) what sort of builds do people use to reach these levels. Thanks in advance for replies.

My suspicion is that many people who make these claims do not play a medium armor class, which for some unknown and nonsensical reason, require significantly higher mitigation ratings in order to reach the cap compared with light and heavy armor wearers. I don't know anything about beornings, but prior to the new Osgiliath instance loot it would not have been possible to reach the values you stated on a burglar. I often run a tank build to tank the new 3 man instances, and putting myself at or above 30k morale with capped mits leaves me with considerably lower mastery (i.e., in the 50k range) and a crit rating value that is 4% shy of the cap. However, with the release of the new content and all the new essence slots that can be obtained through the wrist/neck and non-jewelry essence pieces, it may very well be possible to reach those numbers.

If you are building for pvp, you may want to consider not fully capping your mits and playing around with the other stats for increased offense.

With the gear that's currently available, you won't get stats like that wearing purely PvMP armor. You could get stats like that mixing in essence armor, although 60k mastery seems like it would be a real stretch without buffs and w/o wearing almost all essence armor.
