Hey! So I started playing the game (steam) and I wanted to buy VIP, but after I click on pay button I always get this message: 2002: Sorry, this payment method is currently unavailable. Please try again later or select a different payment method.
Any idea why this is happening?

Same here. I would expect this would be an important issue for someone to investigate. Making it possible and easy for people to pay you money seems sort of like a big deal. /shrug

The most annoying thing is - I wanted to go VIP again and buy some points so i tried to let them know about this issue via postings right here, on the Steam forum, Twitter & FB and guess how many replies i got .... NONE.
Seems like this SSG thingy is only here for maintenance mode for the servers and nothing more.CRICKHOLLOW - The Silver Claw

Yeah, I too wanted to buy VIP for the first time in order to be able to continue leveling. Do I need to find another game to spend my money on?

This is how I got VIP. I went to my steam install folder and opened LOTRO folder, started the game with TurbineLauncher.exe
I bought VIP with paypal, logged out, started with steam again and now I'm VIP

Steam wallet
I am also having this problem, made a ticket as well as emailing steam, got no responses...I have already purchased the steam wallet cash thinking that would work as I had to buy through steam first before when I bought VIP, now I have no money on my paypal due to buying Steam cash and I also don't have VIP, I am now behind on getting my dailies done in NI and I am going cold turkey from lack of ettenmoors, please fix this asap
