Question Postion in line not moving

I am well aware that on launch day half the time is waiting in line to gain access to the server. My issue is that the position in line is not moving. I was 402 now 1824 after my client closed for whatever reason. The server really that backed up or does the client just not give a count down status?

Seems like it does not give a countdown. That does reduce the load on the server at the expense of increase customer aggravation.

That the Counter doesn't decrease is a general problem.

    I hope it's just the missing UI-Update.

Damn, I hope that is the reason because i do not want to set around all day waiting for a imaginary potion to open up on the server.

Actually it is bouncing from around 900 to 1200 for me. It's broken. I don't think anyone waiting is being updated.

Pretty poor show of server capacity. This makes little sense. If the queue means that there x number of.people waiting to log in then it means that x number of people must also log out. Unless the server isnt full and they are just putting people in a queue as to avoid crashing the server.

I relogged several times. Sometimes I got a higher number, sometimes a lower number. This last time I logged in (about 10 mins. ago), I got Position 1! I'm still not in. I don't think the queue is working.

We are obviously seeing an overwhelming response at the opening of Anor, and yes, there is queueing going on. For those in a queue, you should feel free to stay in your queue, with no need to relaunch the game client.

So when will you do the right thing and take the server down again until you've added proper capacity?

I sat in the queue for an hour, and am now trying the rapid relaunch thing. My number never changed in the hour I was originally in the queue. The guys on Discord are saying that rapid relaunching is the only way they got in.

I have also been in the same queue position for over an hour, what gives? Why is the queue so long and what is being done to speed up the process? Are you checking each persons account manually?

    Those downloadings can be eliminated.

Add the bolded option to your Target. Also be sure you are using the LotroLauncher.exe

"C:\Games\The Lord of the Rings Online - Copy\LotroLauncher.exe" -skiprawdownload

Only downside is that your splash screens will slowly go out of date.
