New player here. I’m really enjoying the game and the so-far universally nice people I’ve met while playing as well as the helpful folks here on the forums. I’m also impressed by the customer service which was quick to respond when something I purchased wasn’t properly applied to my account and the rep was positive and pleasant.

I’m proof positive that the Mac client (which is just the Windows client in a WINE wrapper) works fine! Just boot into Mojave (10.14) because there is some 32-bit code which means it won’t work on Catalina (10.5) or later. Things are just beautiful even on my low-end Mac, the surface of water and shadows and reflections are especially nice!

I just wish I hadn’t spent my first purchased LOTRO points on inventory slots and shared storage slots less than 24 hours before this week’s sale started...
