I recall this happening before where they said that the Curator would appear before a festival and everyone panicked when it wasn't made available right after the patch. Then, someone pointed out that the date was actually for that Monday, two days before the festival. Or the time where people were sitting around complaining that the Curator was missing when it wasn't even 10am yet.

I haven't seen an official date anywhere. Not on lotro schedule, lotro forums, dev tracker, twitter, or facebook. We don't have Beacon or streams right now either.

Today is exactly 1 week before the LOTRO Anniversary event start! Can some dev confirm that the Curator NPC trader will arrive today after the downtime?

Can Cord or anyone confirm that we will still see the curator prior to the Anniversary event, even though we're under a week out?

Maybe they figure that saying well in advance that the Curator will appear before the anniversary is sufficient and there is no need to give the precise day. After which people would pressure them to give the precise hour. After which ...

There's really no reason for the lack of "seasonal" NPCs schedule which could than be included in the Events list with precise dates. That would make many happy IMO.

The current cat-and-mouse game is frustrating instead of exciting and the figment cap is to blame mostly. With a set schedule you can plan ahead, right now, sitting on ~9k figments I simply play less to avoid hitting the cap.

And yes, a precise day/hour info is beyond expected from a service provider (and so is our understanding that sometimes things happen and that info may change).
I may be put out if my local shop is unexpectedly closed earlier than usual but there's a note, there are set OPEN hours and I would look silly shouting at the doors.

I agree. It is frustrating to sit on 10K and then discover that hobbit gifts give figments as well. Never got any before I hit cap. Another problem are the high prices on items. Some are just ridiculous considering that there are not many ways to earn them. I also do not understand why a cap for cosmetic items is needed. It is frustrating to manage all the capped currencies. It takes away from fun time in game.

In Cord's final Cord of the Rings stream several weeks ago I believe it was mentioned that the Curator would return during the Anniversary festival, so maybe....maybe next week.

I'm 90% sure the contents of the lootboxes rotates along with the Figment barterer. I opened a few the other day and got items that are currently available from Filbert Fig.

So likely only to give a chance of Pig Pen drop when Rowan Raspberry turns up in game? I wish that link actually worked and the information was kept up to date.

It's like betting on a horse and you don't know if it's in the race or even it's odds if it was. Open enough boxes and you'll have figments enough to barter a pig pen from Rowan I suppose.

I've stacked outhouses in the housing carry-all while the Curator was up. That's plenty to flame for a Pig Pen if I really wanted one that much. An apt exchange.
