Will we be using Enhancement Runes on Essences eventually?

I noticed on the tooltip last night that my essences have a Maximum Enhancement Listing. It's equal to the current item level in each case, but I thought it was noteworthy.

We don't have any specific plans there, that's more of a display bug. Because a lot of the tracery tech is built as an extension of the essence tech, there's some places in the system like this where stuff for traceries shows up erroneously on essences.

It's too bad it's just a bug, because the idea of upgrading essences sounds pretty cool actually. Maybe something to consider in the future?

If they ever do this there needs to be a better way to get essences then landscape drops. I never upgrade mine because it's just not worth it and the drops are just 50% chance to even enhance my character. They are way to expensive on the barter as well.
