We found your little joke in angmar devs...

So a friend and I were burning through some deeds in Uru and CD to prepare for the meta deeds there. Then we just wandered around for a bit. I look up a hillside at a random location and low and behold if you look in just the right spot there is a Yule tree on a barren hill side in angmar.

Bet you didn't think we'de ever see that did you. You've been officially caught. :P

(For any player that wants a hint check western side of angmar for the tree, not gonna give an exact location since its not the easiest thing to spot)

Edit:Fixed my hint of the location.

It was put there as a warning to adventurers: "Yule never leave here alive."

We find lots of interesting sights and such -- and sometimes big scary things that serve as portals to the stone circle.

and then theres 8 of Bilbos buttons, and 3 or more, (havent found out for sure) Caveman style wall paintings, and the few, but curious black skulls...and The last time I checked, there are two pies on the ground cooling and waiting to be eaten somewhere in the Shire.

Easter eggs go beyond snowmen and castles and trees (oh, my!). There are also some fun NPC interactions. Don't assume all those NPCs standing around are just decoration. Try talking to some of them.

OMG! In Lothlorien this quest giver told me to get some boar parts and he told me not to roll my eyes! :D

He is south of the drunken elves that you scold, somewhere in the crafting area.
