Currently we do not have any kind of cursor APIs available. It is something we've been looking into among the various other requests.Quote:

No...not you - I was referring to this thread, which I answered the same question.
Essentially what Forsaken said is true (obviously) - we can't access the cursor itself. However, we can get the position of the mouse cursor, which means it is possible to put some form of "locator" graphic/animation (to make it easier to find) ,if for instance, the mouse hasn't moved within a certain time period.
Not a Mouse Cursor enlarger, but a Mouse Finder...
hold down Ctrl+Alt+Shift and a big icon shows next to your mouse.
MouseFinder can be found in my suite of plugins, although it isn't much different than the Windows mouse finding tools. Either way, you can find MouseFinder here

Just extract that to your Documents/The Lord of the Rings Online/Plugins folder. Then, go in-game and type: /plugins load mousefinder
Anytime you hold down CTRL+ALT+Shift, the mouse will be more visible. Since a true mouse enlarger isn't really do-able with my programming skills and the current API, I did the best I could with this mousefinder. Thanks for your feedback.

I think this is a Addon that can be useful. Even if it just point a direction where the Mouse is it would help the Fellowship Raids and Solo Play. Which will Bring in Better players.
For ScrappyTheGreat if that coding can be set where a person can set there own key to find there mouse I think it would be helpful. One button I was thinking was ` key which is above the Tab key. Something that that can use in the middle of combat.
i too would love for the mouse to be skinnable in some way...
but in the meantime....windows mouse options work in game.
there is a toggle to show the mouse location when you press and hold the ctrl key.

You might be shock. I do no not use the keyboard in combat and I play all 9 classes.
I only use a Mouse total of 10 buttons That has the Main controls like the mouse 2 buttons and the Wheel. But 3 buttons on the side which I use for num Lock which is auto run. Webpage and (i) button to access all 5 bags at once. The Wheel has the Normal button but also right and Left which is my Tab and Delete which are Target or next Item. I still have 2 buttons Left. I wish I could get one for Next Player and mouse locator.
So Not everyone uses the keyboard in combat. All my game Buttons are on screen.
The only time I use the keyboard is to type.
LOL same here as well. I use a Gaming Mouse for all my gaming needs, do use the keyboard but most of the combat stuff is via using the mouse.Quote:

I haven't a clue how to use a keyboard in gaming, far too confusing. I know it can be done, but I do much better with the mouse.
There is one other option.
We can't override the cursor, but we can get the cursor position. Unfortunately Lua cannot keep up with the mouse -meaning that nothing tied to the mouse position will update quick enough to do anything more than follow behind if you move the mouse even at a normal speed.
However, it should be possible to do something when the mouse pointer isn't moving, effectively making the pointer bigger while it's stationary, and resorting to normal size while it's moving.
