All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
I just thought to write about the next updates and new features that Lotro will have next year.I have read many of these info on Lotro relative websites and some in the Lotro Forums
Here we go:
-Character models get a complete overhaul
-A new hobby (or maybe more than one)
-A housing update
-New raids
-Isengard Expansion
-New PvMP area and an PvMP update
-And possible new areas
Note: i could add Lotro Store new items (because its sure that lotro store will get many new items ,yep i dont like that because it means more rep mounts and more not good items for the game but anyways)but i didnt added that because i dont concider Lotro Store as part of the game and i dont concider it as something that makes the game better
Re: All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
double post
also some misleading-false information

Please provide further info on these.
When you post something like this it is customary to provide links as confirmation of your knowledge. Otherwise, it's just speculation, conjecture, and (as someone else said recently) wishful thinking.
It's not that I doubt you it's just that I don't know you and I (as well as probably anyone else) would like supporting documentation of your claims.
Thanks.
Re: All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
Patrick never went off topic and please post proof of everything you claim...
some of what you listed I know about, other I have never heard of.

First off I never said all of it was.
Misleading: "And possible new areas" Already said we are getting 3 Isengard, Gap of Rohan, Dunland
Possible false: "Character models get a complete overhaul" Where did you hear this one?
Misleading: "A new hobby (or maybe more than one)" They have said they are working on golf but they have not said that will be in for 2011.
Also the way you worded it it sounds like you are saying that is all that we will be getting next year. You are missing things like cosmetic pets (work on them for 2011), 2 LI revamps, First ages, and other stuff.

It would be most helpful to post links to the sources for these updates and features.
Thanks!
Re: All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
Character model overhaul? Where in the world did you hear that? It would be a dream come true to have more customization for our toons- and the ability to tweak our old toons- but I have heard nothing about this.
As others have mentioned, you really need to list your sources.

Except skip hobbies, because we've all heard that one before. >.>

Guys relax, he might not remember where he read those and maybe thats why he hasnt copy and paste the links or he maybe was a bir bored to do all that copy and paste :P :)
Btw i have also read somewhere about a new hobby
Re: All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
A lot of times people repeat wishes, and through repeated copies they turn into rumors, and eventually someone says "the devs say X". Don't trust any of it unless it's from a dev or there's a link.
After all, I remember when Mirkwood expansion came out and some players called foul, claiming that they were told by someone that Rohan was next.
Re: All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
What I want to see most for LOTRO is the following:
Real life account security improvements that equal the security SoE uses for EQ2x (i.e. instead of having the security code on file, Turbine requires it be entered each purchase of Turbine Points with real cash).
Better and cheaper housing. Now that I'm not playing LOTRO exclusively, I don't have time to do all the crafting to earn money for the expensive storage vaults that are LOTRO houses. I'm about to ditch the 150 silver house totally on Windfola and the 50 silver houses on Silverload and Brandywine
All the other improvements, I'll wait till Fall 2011 to see. I will definitely buy the game, and will play to see how it is, but I have higher expectations than I did with Mirkwood. While Lothlorien additions were good, I was disappointed by Mirkwood. I look forward to something as good as Moria.

First of all these arent guesses or wishes.
I have read about all these i just dont remember the websites

Sadly then, none of the rest of us will be able to provide any useful comment or feedback, and must categorize this as 'hearsay'.

So they could have been on the Suggestion board...or in a thread or a blog that simply was stating someones impressions and ideas for future changes...or on another forum where someone might have been pointing out what they perceived as shortcomings of the game and what "needs" to be fixed.
Point is...without sources your comments mean absolutely nothing. If you expect serious players to take you seriously then you need to reconsider how you post information. Otherwise, it just comes across as garbage. No offense.
Re: All the updates and new content that comes next year for Lotro
Some of the items in the OPs list may have been misconstrued from various comments.
For example, the "character model" reference is not planned as far as I know but might refer to our plans to revamp the Character panel and our on going class updates.
We've said publicly we'd like to do a numberof the things on that list. But I wouldn't take a "we'd like to" to mean "it's written in stone and will not change."
