Anyone else sick of hearing people whine about the LI changes?

Specifically, of course, the Relic system changes.

Yes, the only current plans to let you keep relics from LI to LI is via a store bought scroll.
A lot of you seem to forget, though, that once the update goes live, ALL currently equipped Relics will be put back into your inventories and they will remain with the same stats they have at this time.

You also seem to forget the whole part about swapping legacies on LIs.
Essentially, they finally made it so LIs can be something you WANT to keep/"grow" with you!
Find the First Age LIs you want, then grind out OTHER LIs to get the legacies you really want! No need to deconstruct FA after FA to get a couple of legacies you are looking for.
Therefore, you won't lose the relics you put into your LI until this fall when the expansion comes and the new level cap. By then, you can surely grind out the few TP needed for the scroll(if they don't add a way to get them in-game by then anyways).

Not really tired of the bitching, because there are as many bad points to discuss about the new system as there are good points. The system's better - the number of bad things to good things is about equal now, compared to what it was - but there are still issues with the system.

Sure, you get the relics put back into free inventory, but, unless you want to run the new content with a gimped LI with no relics slotted, you're going to have to use them, or equip the new ones (which seem to have worse stats than the current ones, at least for some classes). Either way, you'll eventually lose the old ones, whether it's due to slotting them back up when the update goes live and losing them when you get a better SA, or when FAs become common.

Likewise, swapping legacies is nice, but right now, it's possible to have 5 Pool A legacies on an LI. Post-update, it's 3 at ID and a small chance of getting a Pool A at reforge. That means while weapons can be more specifically tailored, for the most part people are going to need more than one LI (to speak to my class, a dedicated ST and a dedicated AoE weapon) to be really effective, whereas that's not the case as things stand now.

tl;dr - no, because the people bitching raise valid concerns, balanced against the positive aspects of the update. Discussion is always a good thing.

The devs made a change which most people like but then they also took away something to make up for everyone being able to make their own perfect LI. What is the old saying... "You can not get something for nothing."

I am going to like the new Li system. I am really looking forward to it.

I'm not, because at the moment the math for grinding a t6 relic is 6-7 times the number of fused bronze relics that it takes now. The rest of the math shows that grinding a t6 relic is going to be more expensive in time, gold, and relics that it is now. The "new" t6 relics and the "extraordinary relics" ((read: t7 relics)) aren't even as good as the t6 relics we have now, never mind as good as a t8 or t9.

You're gonna lose up to 400-500 morale and/or power, and/or lots of incoming healing if you downgrade to the new relics. Improvement? I think not. In exchange you're gonna get minor improvements to stats that only reward major increases as minimal percentages. Yippee.

I'll be keeping my t9s, making the LI of my dreams with legacy scrolls, and investing in a few removal scrolls from the turbine store.


What more could I wish for?

We have multiple threads on this subject and honestly a thread complaining about complaining is just a tad redundant in and of itself.
