It dawned on me earlier today that the best part of my LOTRO career has been in the moors. It also dawned on me that the WORST part was as well. But the forums are chalked full of bad memories.
I was looking thru all my screenshots over the time I was a freep and creep. And I got nostalgic. It was a simpler time then. Comraderie, teamwork, fellowship, a common goal.
I wantedf to open a thread to make a Riddermark Ettenmoors Scrapbook, of times and places that struck each of us as profound. Comments are welcome, please keep it clean. I found that looking thru the hundreds of photos I had....man, I had some REAL good times freepside and creepside. And forged profound relationships with people from all over the world.
This first pic is what I like to think described me, Thunderbow. I am alone in a darkened Glen Vraig. I have no raid, no fellowship....but I mount up and ride to whatever end seemed fit that night. I look at this picture and am reminded of Lothran, Boone, Evenia, Lofi, Meleo...all rogue hunters that had similar stories perhaps in the beginning, but each and everyone of us found our own path. Some freeps till, some creep, some moved on. We all made a living as a hunter, like us or hate us, it was what it was. And I like to think we were good.
So I hope this thread prompts freeps and creeps alike to share some memories that keep you coming back, make you glad you are a free person or a monster. Each and every person I have come in contact with in the Ettenmoors has had an impact on me and my gaming experience. For the highs and lows, I thank you all.
Sozu, Shazaam, Perthethos, Azusa, Meleo, Adino, Syras, Giggle, Gundamir, Proton and Atara....this is for you
