I'd say more but Turbine's level of competence speaks for itself over the last few years. :)
Uh patch notes are never available this early. You got an hour or so to wait.

My point was not that it won't be up, is that it should be up prior to the downtime as a matter of efficiency and respect to the player base.; not an hour before or after the servers come back up.

And frankly, as long as the notes are up before the servers are, there is no problem.
I think that when I awaken way too early (before sunrise!) only to find myself deprived of LoTRO due to planned downtime, Turbine should be gracious enough to come to my home and make me coffee. Y'know, as a gesture of respect toward their player base.
- They said in advance that patch notes will be made available during the downtime.
- Patch notes - as always - will appear during the downtime as advertised. There still 3 hours to go.
- Stop complaining :p
Patch notes are never late. Nor are they early. They arrive precisely when they mean to. Even if the Community Communication Department says otherwise.

I agree with the coffee idea, my coffee machine makes a cup of coffee in about 60 seconds and is 15 feet from my bed. come on turbine, *poke, poke* make me some coffee, and a breakfast burrito while your at it!

So posting a brief opinion/question on something is wrong and deserving of insults? Turbine has had policy changes and not for the better ... regardless of followers who shun and insult anyone who decides to speak out a view not consistent with worship at the alter of Turbine. What I think is a bigger issue then the patch notes not available at the time downtime starts, it's more that to find them you need to look all over the place... There should be a reward for finding them.
Also there have been times the notes were posted a few hours after the servers came up...
Should ONE PLACE that people can find the patch notes that do not require them to become part of an exterior social network (Facebook or Twitter)
