Feature Request: Player-Customized Home Page
What I'm thinking of stems from discussion about concerns coming from 3rd party site operators.
The concept - and it may be there already, but I can't confirm until edit rights are given - is that a player could add/edit hyperlinks to 3rd party site content such that the links open up within the in-game browser (IGB).
To be clear though, the 'home page' customizations should be player-specific based upon Lore Books site logon.
Re: Feature Request: Player-Customized Home Page
Unless they've added an extension to do so, and I can't imagine that they have because it opens up a huge security hole, you can't transclude data from another site into a wiki page.
You can certainly add links to your own page, or any other, to an outside site, but it won't "grab" the data.
I'm not sure if that answers your question or not. :)
Re: Feature Request: Player-Customized Home Page
Yeah, wasn't a question so much, but I was asking for a feature a bit simpler than what you describe. Really, just looking for a 'home page' function akin to what the WWW used to be about - setting up your own home page that had links out to the content you wanted. The content pages then would open up within the IGB, but not within the Lore Books page as a frame or feed... but that idea does sound nice too.
I've seen this done elsewhere, at least to some extent, with Oblivion's tool kit wiki. Where I can customize the look/feel of my starting page on the wiki, including picking certain content that I want to see represented on that page. Taking it a step further, being able to edit my personal home page of the Lore Books site by including hyperlinks out to 3rd party sites, would be more inline with what I'm asking for.

Oh, I see.
Yes, I imagine that would be pretty simple to do. Just a redirect to your "User Page" after login. I don't think that would even need an extension.
