2 set bonus is nice, 4 set bonus is definitely not worth it. It grants ~800 incoming healing per words of courage, stacks x3, so basically about 2-3 % increase in incoming healing.
I don't see any situation ever where i'd get rid of 2 essence pieces for about 3% more incoming healing. what a ripoff.
It looks like it'd be best to go with either 2 healer/4 charge or 2 healer/2 leader, as that gives the best mix of bonuses.Quote:

I can't personally see a reason to get any yellow armor. The bonuses are very worthless considering the lost of essence armor. Instead of, say, 5k morale, you are going to get a mit buff that isn't a % increase which doesn't do anything for a capped-mit captain. And the last stand duration, if you're doing something that requires your last stand to be off cooldown 25% quicker you'd be better off changing something else (such as your healer or your mits/morale). so anything with leader is out the window. The charge 4 set is nice, but situational and i definitely wouldn't use it while healing. I'd instead stack up on might/mits/morale. If healing i'm just using 2 healer and the rest essences. If i'm red line, yeah, i'd probably go 4 charge and 2 essence for might/morale/mits, but i can't ever see myself using more than one set at a time.

Percent values look nicer as fixed values for me.
10% more outgoing heal will bring my fellowship in a more stable situation.

As for the first boss of DOS, sure that "can" be useful. However, been completely that consistently now with just one OB. If those around you have the gear, your buffs become that much better.
Same goes for your morale pool or whatever you slot on your essence gear. Putting mastery or might on these two essence pieces would be pretty useless. You would never get enough mastery to compensate 10% direct healing. Putting morale or defence stuff on these two essence pieces is not useless but anything else than needed.Quote:

Iirc the dagor set ( dps ToO set) has the same setbonus as charge but as a 2 set bonus, meaning it's possible to go for 4 command ( sure strike inc damage) and 2 dagor while putting mits and morale on your essence jewel. This will increase the dps of your group a lot more. Havent made a build around it though as i haven't been playing a lot but i'm sure it's 100% viable for most instances/raids
