I regret to inform you all that our beloved couple of globe-trotters seems to have met an untimely end in Dunland.
To be precise, they have been apparently crushed by a huge rock fallen from the sky.
Life in Middle-Earth is dangerous.

That's not a rock, that's how they camouflaged their flying saucer so they wouldn't get in trouble with the lore police.

This happens from time to time; I once had to turn
in a quest in Moria, only to find the NPC below the
floor of the 21st Hall. I could select him, but not see
him, and more to the point I couldn't turn in to him.
