As promised, the big reveal has arrived!

Before I tell you which server will be the new home of the Legion, allow me to explain how I calculated the votes.

Each player was asked to list their five preferences in order, with 1 being the most desirable, and 5 being their least. When I tallied the votes, I placed the number of votes per server under preference columns. So, if server A received 6 1st preference, 4 2nd preference, 4 3rd preference, 3 4th preference, and 2 5th preference votes, the score would read:
Server A: 6,4,4,3,2

In order to get the most popular server, I combined the first two preference votes into a total score, then subtracted the fourth and fifth preference votes. The third preference was treated as neutral. Server A would have 6+4-3-2= 5

And now, the new server for the Legion of the Silent River will be:
CRICKHOLLOW!

Final Scores:
Crick: 8,2,1,0,1=9
Glad: 2,5,1,1,0=6
Landy: 3,2,3,0,1=4
Arky: 6,0,1,4,0=2
Brandy: 1,0,2,1,3= -3

I look forward to the move to Crickhollow. This kinship has been around as long as Imladris can remember. It has never been a megalithic sized kinship, but thats fine. Legion of the Silent River may lose some of its members in the server transfers as well, but that will happen all over the servers. Also as long as I am around, the Legion will be as well. Hope Crick welcomes us in open arms and we find new friends, members and a new LOTRO family there!

Hi all!

Thanks to Vert's careful watch, I, too, have come to believe that the Imladris transfer, (& the kin's!) will take place THIS month, ON the 27th! Don't jump until you're told if you intend to remain with us! More information will be sent out the closer the day gets!

However, this transfer is not without risk.

-Players have reported losing stored items. While infrequent, it still merits preparation.
1. Take screenshots of your vaults, houses, & inventories. Make sure the item names can be read or easily inferred when you do! That way, all you have to do if the transfer glitches is send those screenshots to Support for replacement/reimbursement. Be sure to place these screenshots somewhere safe on your computer!
2. MAIL, & items IN mail, will NOT transfer, Don't leave precious items in the mail!
3. Be cautious & thorough when transferring. Make sure you know ahead of time what to do, & where your characters will be going. We'd hate to lose half of you!
