Did I read that right, or we'll probably not be able to complete the epic past Chapter 5?Quote:
- Epic Book - V4B4C5 Beyond the Rammas - Killing ravaging wargs does not count towards the quest objective
I might have missed it, but was there a mention of fixing that bloody arrow through the hand/side of body bug?
Y'know, the one that our lovely QA said was going in this update?
Seeing the "known issues" I am wondering whether they released this too fast. And what on earth could Update 17 - mostly focused on a new region, new battles, new crafting tier, and class changes - have possibly broken that a goat in Moria can no longer find its way? :D
AND I SEE NO MENTION OF STACKING PICNIC TABLES!! :( :(
Beside the lack of picnic tables and that memory leak, still a lot of really lovely things coming on this update.
Added an audio option to disable combat music
7 long years D <3
It is not a memory leak, it is just a really large area with a lot of high detail. We are looking into creative ways to reduce the client memory footprint without compromising on the grandeur of the city, but we did not want to hold the experience back in the meantime. Reduced graphics settings will help if you run into the problem. Not the best solution, I know, but it is a major challenge with an epic city like this.
It's surprising to me that Turbine engineers would be willing to release software with some of the known issues they are reporting. Client crashes when entering/exiting buildings in Minas Tirith?
The pressure from management to get the U17 release out the door must have been immense. I don't envy them the tough decisions they have to make to run a profitable enterprise.
Any links summarizing new slotted jewelery, slotted armor and crafting recipes?
When looking at the 'known issues', what does 'Minas Tirith - There are no vendors in the besieged version of the city' mean? Is this already a declaration of the fact that there will be two versions (phased or otherwise)?
