Have not seen a lot on this subject so was wondering what some of you guys were using as a set up for your creeps in different situations. I was going with 6 crits and 6 masteries for the most part but have found it not the best set up with all this dps getting higher and higher so I have switched to 6 crits, 3 tact mits and 3 crit defense or 3 physical mits and 3 crit defense. Opinions and other set ups?
Depends on class. If you're DPSing, you're going to want the crit. Morale used to be very popular, but with mits and crit so important, you don't see it as much. Mastery is all but useless.
I have been hearing that Mastery is useless, but I don't understand the argument. What is the normal cap on Crits now not considering skill bonus 30%? When I was checking my WL if I used 3 mastery corps, I had about a 20% increase in DPS and another 10%+ increase in healing. It might not be significant on other classes but what is the reasoning?Quote:

This gives about a 2% damage advantage to the 6 critical build. But, with the 3 mastery I get an additional 7% in healing. For a WL I'll take the extra healing over the 2 percent.
Mitigation corruptions don't have much of an impact. Using 3 physical mitigations only yield a 5% increase. It's a little better with tactical mitigation with a 13% increase. So in general you are better off using 2 HfP that gives a 10% increase in moral for any damage type.
A better build would be to use the two HfP, 3 mastery, and add the 4th critical.
Of course this is what is on the tool tips and does not necessary reflect the actual results. I would agree that on a DPS class, 6 crits are the way to go, but for a healing class the results are not as clear.
Well, the crit magnitude does not affect healing, so anything more than 3 crit is useless for healers. 3 crit, 3 of each mit, and morale/crit d is best build for healers, imo.
