Does it get any better?

So, i came back to Lotro after a pretty long absence, and decided to start a completely new character. The Beorning was what i decided to go with, and from my experiences with the Warden and the Runekeeper i pretty much expected a novel and interesting class. So, i invested quite a few storepoints , got the class up to level 28, and now im bored senseless. The class has nothing that seperates it from other melee classes except the bear form, and to be hones, that is just 3 more attacks. While the whole lore behing it is very interesting, the class itself is a HUGE disappointment, and my motivation to keep playing it is getting close to zero currently.
Does it get any better? As of now i am close to leaving again.

Nope. Beorning is a broken class. Even the devs admit as much.
There are some raid boss fights with "different" mechanics where a bear is handy either as a healer or, more rarely, as a tank - but never as DPS.

Admit ? Devs dont even mention us anymore.
And to the OP. No, dont pick beor, unless you plan to play solo. (or to be caried)

Soloing with the Beorning is quite easy for a long time. After you reach lvl 105/105 it will be less easy and with Mordor once more a bit less fun, until you geared up well.
If you have the possibility to leveling together with someone, that would be my "recommended" way to have a lot of fun with the Beo.
