Red-line trait Brutal Energy bugged?

After acquiring this trait, Relentless Maul Channel Duration was halved as promised, but the damage barely increased; I expected at least a 2x damage multiplier (either through 0.5-second ticks or just by multiplying the damage of the 1-second ticks) to cancel out the halving of the Channel Duration...

As it is, getting more red traits halves our Relentless Maul damage. :( Please fix?

Indeed, I just checked. Same issue w/ me. It's halving the time and the damage as well. I literally stopped progressing on the red tree line to avoid that. Spent points on the other 2, but this is bad. Meaning, my character is hindered now because it can't dps as it should.

They gotta fix this soon! =/

When I go from 19 traits to 20, my maximum Relentless Maul damage goes from 1,290 to 1,401. I hadn't noticed before reading this thread, as that's still enough damage at my level to kill any landscape mob while Sharpened Claws is active, but the trait is obviously not working.
