Can Access Account But All Characters and All LOTRO Points Missing

Hi there! I was hoping someone could help me out.

I've just re-downloaded LOTRO after being inactive for several years (last time I was on was about the time the switch from Turbine to SSG happened, so 2016 or 2017), and my account is still there. Whew, that was a relief. However, when I go to any of the servers I was on, none of my characters are there. My characters weren't on servers that were merged, so transferring shouldn't be the issue here. Still, I clicked the transfer button, and none of my characters on any servers showed up, and at the bottom it said I had 0 LOTRO points, when I should have about 100.
My main character, Ervaiel, was a elf hunter and was around level 40-45 on either Brandywine or Laurelin (I can't remember), and I had just bought the Angmar quest pack after saving up LOTRO points for quite some time. I really don't care about getting LOTRO points back or my other characters- I just want Ervaiel and Angmar. Anyone have any idea what happened or how I can get them back? (Tickets have already been submitted to SSG Help, but no progress yet).

I am having the same issue as you! It has been several years since I logged in and before the company changed hands. I too am missing all characters and have submitted a ticket and posted but still heard nothing back. I am really at this point given up and playing ESO instead as it has support and high pop. I just stopped here on the faint hope someone answered but nada. I wish you luck on finding help with this issue. Please post back here if you ever get a solution as I would be very interested to hear why it happens. Stay Safe!

In terms of the Angmar, all quest packs (like 23 of them) are now available FOR FREE, using the code: LOTROFREEQUESTS on the “redeem code” window in the LOTRO store. So that bit is easily sorted, and then some.

I hope you get your characters back, because that would be really annoying. The only consolation if not is that it doesn’t take too long to get to level 40 ... possibly a stupid question, but is there any chance you had more than one account and logged into the wrong one? I know it sounds like I’m saying something obvious, but I’ve done much sillier things in the past :p

Update: My Mistake!

TheArtilleryman, you are absolutely correct. By some strange miracle, I somehow found my very first account from 2012 (which I thought I lost) before my current one. My current one hadn't been linked to the correct email, so I had trouble finding it, but I now have everything recovered! (Not that it was "missing" in the first place :-))

SSG responded promptly to my ticket back in May and suggested the same thing, that I was on the wrong account, so I had everything figured out in a couple of days. Everyone has been so helpful and considerate. Thank you all! I'm sorry for not updating this thread earlier. Miztress, I hope your issue is as simple as mine was!

Wow! I did not expect that to be the answer! I am so glad you got it all sorted out. Well you’re back at the right time, and can enjoy the whole game for free. Have fun and see you in Middle Earth :)
