plea to the class development team. RK.

Can we get a run buff? Like of any kind?

Like, maybe something that uses power, as a negative and if we go into combat while using it we will have zero power coming out of it. I'm pretty much down with anything. Or maybe update foods to give a larger benefit? Largest buff I saw was 10%. Everyone is faster than us. And it'd just be really nice.

Allot of people i expect to complain about this not being needed, but this is a game and if you don't like it, don't use it.

The cooks who make the speed buff coffees will go out of business if everyone has an innate run speed skill :(

I'm fine with cooks giving us 30 or 40% speed buff. Even if its max rank cooks. Or requires some rare component. I just want my rk to run fast without a horse. 10% is bogus. As i can cook that and it doesn't improve over my race traits.

In other words only your opinion matters? Nice way to try to influence the Devs. BTW I have been playing since Shadows of Angmar Alpha and I think RK is fine as is.

First, every class should have everything? As the other poster said, there's coffee, there are boost scrolls, there are more.

Second, go to the main forum page. Scroll down. You'll find a class section. Post in the RK sub-forum.

I guess your longevity is the only thing that matters. (guess what? I don't care)

Why do either of you care if RK's get a self run buff? every class pretty much has one. either temporary, or temporary as long as certain conditions are met. I don't really understand why some classes get nearly every single convenient buff or skill while some get none?

Beorn can tank, DPS, or heal, has a travel skill, has 2 run buffs (1 is best in the game), but the RK getting 1 run buff is too much and will throw the game out of balance? what the heck?

Warden has a run buff and a travel skill, this travel skill is is only second to Hunter. and the run buff is only second to the Beorn. The RK getting a run buff is too much?

I wasn't asking you 2 anyways.

Class team, please consider some solo player convenience skills. Such as run buffs or whatever you think would not bother others. thank you!

I'm genuinely curious as to why they (or any class) would not need a run buff. Movement in the game is painfully slow. The only character I have that runs reasonably fast is my hunter, and that's because I took every single rank possible to increase his run speed.

Seriously, I have withdrawal symptoms every time I play any of my other characters because I feel like I am crawling along. The world is MASSIVE, and I just can't understand why there isn't an option for ALL classes to at the very least have a way to get 30% faster out-of-combat movement speed WITHOUT having to mount up.

It wouldn't be as much of an issue with mounting except for the fact that you can't fight while mounted. The usual routine is mount up, wait on the mounting animation to complete, move fast for ten seconds to the next mob, dismount, wait for the dismount animation to complete, kill mob, repeat. It's so annoying that I tend to just not mount up, and that run speed when not mounted is just barely faster than a turtle lol.

Thank you! this is what I'm talking about. The only thing that helps is ranged attacks. The game is massive and I love it for being that way. I have a Beorn I'm leveling and the run buffs are incredible, I used to have a hunter and a GRD, and those had run buffs too, it was nice. Even burgs had stealth run buff that were on as long as no enemy detected you. The RK just feels like a turtle, it'd be nice for a little shine since its really not the best at anything. Anyway, thank you for the positive response, I don't get why people are against a run buff as it's a quality of life upgrade that can have any number of restrictions just for the option of a little quicker (sometimes).

I have a 140 rk and did have a 65RK.
