Freep PVP Gear and Weapons

Since Freeps will be required to use PVP armor in the near future, why not do the same thing with weapons? Currently, Freeps get traceries like range extenders which give them an unfair advantage over creeps. Things like this should be disabled in the Moors. I can understand in the past that Freeps always had preference because they had to be VIP and were considered paying customers while the creeps were free to play. Having weapons that are for PVP only could help with balance in the Moors and save creeps from the hunter standing on top of the keep killing them before the creeps even see the hunters.

Yeah, no. Just give reliable sources of traceries/runes in PVP and its fine, we don't need another system to grind out.

Maybe PVP specific traceries which only drop in the Moors or are purchased with comms. That would help get people to the Moors on both sides if comms were needed to buy weapons.

In the next week or so, I am going to be putting up another outline of things to come. One of those items, will address this a little more completely.

It looks like the Battle Across the Moors quest will be the only way to get these traceries. This quest is very keep-centric. Flipping 5 keeps and completing 10 kill enemy quests in or near keeps does nothing to reduce the lag we experience when so much more activity will be centered around keeps with rewards like this. If keep-related action is the primary way to get these new traceries, the 'empty spots' on the map only grow. On servers with low populations, players are going to have a really tough time getting these. Why not let these be purchased for commendations earned from a larger variety of activities?

Take the 'Weekly' out of quest requirements. That way, players on smaller population servers stand a much better chance of getting these rewards at some point.

Or

Why not change the enemies killed quests to defeat a certain number of opponents anywhere? Why do so many new things need to be centered around taking or defending keeps?
