Since the April 19 update when I stop a character while riding a warhorse he rocks back and forth continuously whether on horseback or not. It interferes with fighting and other interactions. I can't do repair because that corrupts the files and forces me to do a reinstall. What to do?
We are investigating and working to resolve this bug.
While we work to resolve this issue, any player who encounters it can unstick the animation by logging out and then back into the character. We recognize this is not a great workaround, but it does work for now.

I think the log off has been standard procedure for a number of years, it's the log back on that's less oft used.

horse riding looks terrible...no one rides a horse like this...

For race of man there are anywhere from 2-8 broken animations PER CLASS. Not to mention just basic running and riding animations.
SSG WAKE UP!! Revert the update and put it back in the oven. It has taken months in the past to fix and correct a single animation. Are you guys going to correct over 30 animations, including combat hit mechanics in a week or two??? NO your not.
Your game is literally unplayable as man race and logging in and out every 2-5 minutes is not acceptable!!! Thats not even starting in on cosmetics!!!!!!!! On 15 characters I have 6 outfits each and EVERY SINGLE ONE has texture and clipping issues.
What are you guys doing?! Revert this now before you actual kill your own game. This is not hyperbole im in two kins that have 15ish actively subscribed members and one kin has already canceled and disbanded after this update. I have laughed at dramatic people in the past saying 'oh this game is dead and servers will be shut down in 2 weeks' because it was over things that were not that big of deal. Having an entire race, the most popular one unplayable at a decently competent level might actual kill what population you have left. If you cant fix this in a matter of DAYS you need to roll it back. 'We dont have the technology to roll it back' will not be an acceptable answer.
It's not just horse-riding, it's so many Race of Man animations and cosmetics across the board that by the time people finish trudging through the bug report system with them we'll be level 150.
This is one of the most reckless updates I've seen pushed through in years. But at least the servers haven't collapsed.
Can you just borrow the animations from a race/class that works (i.e., rename a copy of those files) and use them until a fix is available? It is very difficult to play and your work around is not really viable on a regular basis particularly if one encounters this nonsense whilst fighting and logging off and on in combat is suicide.Quote:
