Hey Talya Mystic here. I believe you are right - when we both started we numbered int eh few but as the game has caught on more there are more uf us hiding in the wings. I have found more and more girls to hang out with and enjoy they game. Look me up some time. Miss you!

Though I am not on this server I , found it on unrelated search - I am a girl gamer however and happy to see the girl-power!
Was glad to find this thread and see other female gamers. I've only started mentioning it to a few other players as I go along when I feel comfortable. I'm the daughter of a gamer but grew up in an era where seeing women gamers my dad's age were very few and far between. I'm glad there are far more now but many are younger than myself. Still, the more the merrier!
I also play WoW but this is my primary game of choice as a gamer and Tolkien fan... how can you lose?.
I'm also used to 'blowing my horn' as it were about being a female playing female characters, and was very surprised to learn about the number of men playing female characters here.

throw in the number of male gamers who roll female characters simply to have something a little more appealing to look at while they play, and it was quite shocking to see that OMG there ARE women who like computer games too!
Women in the gaming community are a lot more common-place now than they were 10 or even 5 years ago, and I think it's a good thing. Brings more variety to our gaming community :)

I am a female gamer, I play this game with my mother. People can be surprised by that little fact. We do not creep and freep on the same server, so sorry... can't go out of the Moors and play nice here.
Yes guys... girls do play these games, and as more play...you will find us on par, or better than you thought.
I am a guy gamer and I love seeing girls playing video games, a lot of the video gaming community is made up of guys. I've only been playing LOTRO for close to a month now and I am loving it. I came from WoW and I must say LOTRO is far better than WoW. LOTRO is more laid back and you can actually enjoy the game a lot more. Not like with WoW your stuck with requirements and a **** load of gear grinding. I thought I would say hi after my little introduction, all so hi to Talya as well.Quote:
