Re: I Remember When...
Got more that I remembers:
The +100% Evasion cloak from a Great Barrows quest. <3 ♥ <3  thus my very first full run of GB.
When Horse Stables did not have horses yet, and it just ported you to where you wanted to be. If you were lucky. I believe only certain ones were hooked in just barely.
Me going to check out the Misty Mountains after Patience leveled everyone at the Party Tree up to the level cap 40. With my cape of uberness, Also had my first taste of the GA instance, and some of the fields of fornost.
That was my first time experiencing a character wipe in Lotro, yet I was willing to do it again. And again come beta 2.0.
The first days when MonsterPlay was to be introduced.
Miss Tiggs, when she had some of us folks in EC excited we might get to try out MonsterPlay early. Other kins were pretty bitter due to that. It never happened, yet rumors on the forums kept claiming it did. <snipped the rest, but believe you me, it weren't a very nice forums for awhile.>
Rolling a couple of instant (virtue-less) 50's that could only be used in the Ettenmoors, once MonsterPlay was officially started up.
Being warned to NOT flip keeps, because it would crash the server.
Getting stuck in combat due to LM pets. (applied to both my warg and my LM.)
OH! And being able to harvest brittle-leaf seeds from the Hobbit village, in order to pay the stupid Repair Bills. (oh and trait swapping fees too) Forget how long it took to get that fix, but I remember the Patch Notes had a message playfully scolding the Free People for takin' the farmers seedlings.
Lots of closed beta memories. I try not to remember the bitter parts so much, but they happened. Mostly involving the PvMP, but competitiveness against others tends to bring that out. Sometimes the damage can be repaired, and you make a new friend, sometimes you just make a more bitter enemy.
Oh, and how can I forget to mention: Bobble's dancing with Wargs and Reise's /afk Congo lines in GV.
