Not sure how you've done it but you've managed to become the caricature of your own posts. Hilarious really.

What do you mean? People who did mark farming got 30-60k+ marks per single session depending on conditions, im just merely stating the truth that it doesnt take time to grind this amount of marks yet you burn it in matter of seconds and still not done with this bs grind.
That is because I just built 4 weapons to max... Oops!
and I wasn't bragging, but defending myself. Which I am done with.
For some reason I thought...
Look, I take my time. I feel that when I get there, then I will do what I want. I like raiding but I really like leading raids more. I suggest you play the way you prefer and do things the way you like to do things. That is what I do.
It's easy to max out 20 weapons pre-imbue. That's not grind, that's reasonable work. 4 is a walk in the park and can be done in a day.
You need 86 Anfalas scrolls and 12 starlit crystals for an imbued weapon - per weapon (yes that's right, PER weapon). 200K marks and 80K medallions isn't going to be anywhere near enough. That 2 hour grind of yours just turned into 8 hours, if you wish to max your mains weapons.
other mmos are far better for grind anyway
Only a real solution if you no longer want to play LOTRO or are happy to go to other games though. I'd personally prefer to stay in this game, play this game and contribute my monthly financial game allowance to this game. While it's enjoyable, I will, if it becomes to that it isn't, I will consider the alternative option you have posted I guess.
Yup! I agree with you. That is what I did and that is why I I have so few of everything of building 4 LI within the last 2 weeks. This is what I have left after the fact. That is why I am not going to supply but one other char with this stuff and that's because I need her to collect scholar items. You know the roll. A Tinker, A Woodworker, A Scholar. Every other char can leech of them. I am really glad I don't have to level a bunch of chars just because I need the guild tiers. Would I do it if I needed to, yes. I will simply do it two hours every night before I go to bed.
You didn't max four weapons with 200K marks and 80K medallions. It can't be done. That amount of skirmish currency will not even max out one weapon, let alone four.
One anfalas scroll of empowerment costs 2782 marks, and 586 medallions. For one weapon you would need 325,252 marks and 50,396 medallions. Multiply that by four for four weapons.
I don't think you have the foggiest idea what an imbued weapon is.
Edit,
So your saying you did four weapons, and still have 200K marks and 80K medallions left over, yet, you only occasionally do group content? Is there a way in game to make massive amounts of skirm currency that we are all not aware of?
And while you slot in extra crafting in your 2 hours every night before you go to bed, what part of your grind will you give up, in order to fit it in?
Maybe I'm asking the wrong question here Lilywarrior, so here goes.
You say you built your four weapons to full Post-imbued max over the last two weeks, and you say you have not even started DA yet, so the only way you could have possibly done that is with marks and medallions.
How long did it take you to grind all that skirmish currency? Let remind you of the numbers again . . . its somewhere in the region of one million marks, and two hundred thousand medallions.
Are you seriously trying to tell us that you did a grind for that number of marks and medallions . . . . in two weeks, at the rate of two hours per night?
I'm beginning to feel extremely sorry for Sambrog at this moment in time.
I think I am doing something very, very, very wrong then if for 8 years you are focused on quest completion and deeding in each region, all discovery deeds etc before moving on to the new regions and have been able to fully built out 4 weps in 2 weeks without grinding meds/marks. My very active raiding/instancing kin does about 2 - 3 hours of 6 mans a day plus raids and skirms here and there almost daily and I can't max out 2 chars (8 LI's) in like 2 months. I do DA dailies on a few chars daily for gold tokens as well. I'd love to max out my other 8 alts but sadly.. it ain't happening any time soon.
I'm not being snarky or anything here but how exactly did you get all your LI's to tier 44 with full IXP and all starlits? What did you farm for 2 hours a day that got you so much skirm currency in two weeks? I'm truly baffled by this....
Also can you explain why you need to have fully kitted out gear to collect mats for crafting mules?
It is an MMO, that goes to lvl 100. What do you expect? Things to be handed to you like a 4 year old in a daycare center? You are supposed to spend hours of hours working up a character to be the best it can. What do you think this is? Some Assassin's Creed game that you can complete in 8 hours and have everything done?

I do agree we need real RAIDS and no just BB's. Would be nice to have those again.
/sigh
No, not handed to us, but not needing to obtain half a million marks and endless amounts of medallions just to progress one character (just weapons, not anything else about that character) between each update would be a lot nicer.
If Turbine keep this rate of cringeworthy grind up, people will give up and leave, and then it will be an MMO that goes no further.

Many of us have spent time, money and effort working on more than just one character, and wish to take them to the best that they can be. Unfortunately, this new grind doesn't allow time for alts.
And what the heck do we need new raids for now - there is not enough time to run them by the time you do everything else, that you need to do in order to be able to run them ;p (just kidding there by the way, I'd like to see new raids in the game too, people that raid, need them).
Don't ya just love it when someone comes in here and condemns everyone in the thread for wanting something, then ends their post by adding something that they want themselves.
It's a shame that you feel it necessary to comment on a discussion that is obviously far over your head.
The problem is that all grinds are not created equal. And there isn't just an issue with the quantity of grind in LotRO at present, but its quality as well.
