Location: Turkey (Turkish/Gibraltarian)
Playstyle: Crafting, Instances, Quests
MMO games you’ve played: Only LOTRO Since 2010
Why kinships should be interested in you: To help in the quests and craftings.
What kind of kinship you are looking for: I'm inactive player and lonely play. I want a adult kinship. I started at an early age and always played with the adult players. I don't like talking too much. I just want to stay in a kinship and we can help each other, for the quests, instances and craftings. Small or huge, inactive or active, no problem.

Gladden
Looking for any kin. This is the way I am. I run all dungeons and will lead them. I help all and give freely. I am blunt and may cruse a little. I will hold certain festivals for the kin that grant valuable in-game items. I love Trivia soo.... brush up on your pop culture and Lotro.
I will be playing my Epic (lmao) RK Nasdrad.
Thank-you for reading.

What kind of kinship you are looking for: A friendly and casual kin that is also polite and patient. I'm not the best player in the universe, so a kin that will be cool about that is a must. People I can group with and such every once in a while, maybe more once I get to know them a bit better.

Age: late 30s
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Ithil
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): Central Canada
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Mostly Solo many alts since release, returning to game on Ithil and would like to do much more group content!
MMO games you’ve played: only LOTRO
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: dunno i'm just an average tolkien fan who loves LOTRO, easy going guy, likes to help out and enjoy middle earth

Your name, or character name and race (if known):
My character is Hakthil, a Dwarf Champion and my husband's character is Aurda, a Hobbit Hunter. Our characters are leveled into the mid 30's. (He also has a level 36 Minstrel that he hasn't played in over a decade.)
Age:
I'm 47 and he is 37.
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.):
We currently play on the Brandywine server but we are open to anything.
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.):
We live in the Netherlands (GMT+1), having moved here from the US in August 2018. We are hoping to find a kinship that is also based in Europe, and hopefully willing to speak English while we learn Dutch.
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.):
I'm new to MMORPGs; I tried a WOW trial when a bunch of my friends were playing but it wasn't intuitive for me and it just didn't grip me. My husband played WOW for a number of years, and joined LOTRO in June 2007, playing characters to level 20-35, and then putting it aside until this year. He is very comfortable in the environment. I still run into trees and lamps and struggle to open doors, heh.
We started playing because I wanted to play a game where I could be immursed in the LoTR world, like I did years ago with my kids with the Harry Potter games on Playstation - being able to fly all over Hogwarts on a broom, running all over the castle and the grounds, etc. I'm enjoying the storyline but what is keeping me hooked are the details, including the gorgeous scenery and expanded LoTR world (that still feels faithful to the original material). Sometimes we listen to the unabridged audio books while we play!
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters):
We are looking for a group that enjoys being social and talking about real-world interests, and is also looking to be helpful to each other (I can make all sorts of crops for the kinship, for example, and we could use some help in some instances).
Here's the rabbithole that convinced me to look for a kinship: I got sucked into the recent treasure hunting event and started looking through what items I wanted to barter for. I really wanted the goat steed, so I kept at it for 2+ days and finally got the goat! Woo hoo! I also got a bunch of decorations. Well, if I'm going to have decorations, I should get a house. Do I really want to buy a house? Maybe not. Oh, kinships can have houses! ... etc.
I also enjoy socializing in conjunction with the games I play, be it boardgames, phone/tablet games, or online. Combining my interest in meeting people and being social with my interest in sharing a (virtual) home with others in a kinship seems a no-brainer. :)

Looking for a Kin
OK, this is my generic data.
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Ebnut, Elf Warden
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits) Shortly to be 45
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Ithil
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): I'm portuguese, but I play at very random times
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Whatever is fun. Currently casual, used to be hardcore grinder.
MMO games you’ve played: LoTRO, Archeage, Guild Wars 2, Planetside 1 and 2, D&DO
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I just want to be around fun, laid back people, who can help me and whom I can help in return.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): Laid back. Friendly. Likes to do content, but not at the expense of their member's fun or happiness.

Looking for a kin
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Chryadan
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits) 50
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Landroval
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.):East Coast US
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Lots of solo play, but years of experience with groups. I am a lifetime subscriber to LOTRO so i have been here more than ten years, with several long absences for a variety of reasons. Just coming back after being gone for two years, getting caught up on the changes, the new zones and the grind for LI advancement. i am looking for a kin that has at least a handful of active members, preferably one that attempts the end game content. I'm not looking for hardcore, thats not my style, but am fine with a kin that has a mix of both, but would appreciate a more laid back atmosphere. I have seven level 100 toons or higher but will most likely focus on only a few moving forward due to grind of the game.
MMO games you’ve played:
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I am easy going, helpful, happy to lend a hand, admittedly though i am done running low level content, been through it too many times to wanna go back to angmar. I have led a kin and been a member of several over the years so i know what it takes to be part of a social group.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): I am looking for one that is relatively active, even if its just ten people but those people play regularly, that is cool. Looking for a more mature kin in terms of its members but i am flexible. Casual playstyle but people who want to take on the harder content. I'm fine with dying a few times while doing so as well.

Your name, or character name and race (if known): Cementi (no character yet)
Age: 38
Preferred server(s), if any :None I am starting fresh and am also considering the legendary servers.
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.):Canada, MST
Playstyle : Group content of all types, social (voice chat), exploration though thats usually a solo thing. Not a fan of rushing content.
MMO games you’ve played: Far to many to list but the one most near and dear to me was City of Heroes/Villains.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I think what I offer most is a flexible player. I can find enjoyment playing literally any class and as such frequently have mutiple alts so that I can switch to what the group needs. This usually means support though sometimes tank. I am a returning player and used to play a Captain, I will likely play one of those first unless there is a call for something else. For me MMO's are more about the social experience. I am not playing a game to make it a second job. I play to relax and often on voice will be talking with friends about stuff that has little to do with the game. Usually dnd or other rpgs as I DM and play. I have made many friends over the years from various games that still keep still keep in touch with and play various games with them though no MMO's. Allthough I do not seek it my personality usually draws me into roles where I assist leadership in some way. Probably because I enjoy dungeons a great deal and am usually forming groups for them. I think you can walk a line between casual and serious where you try to do your best but not to the detriment of the groups fun.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters):Active obviously but that could mean 4 people or 40. As long as people who group are on. Some kind of voice communication is a must for me. I am terrible at monitoring chat at times. Discord is what I currently use to keep in touch with people but I am not opposed to other systems. I am looking for people to play with. Not people to run me through content and shower me with gear that I might one day be able to equip. While I appreciate those sentiments it simply is not fun for me to sprint along behind someone else looting bodies. Some of my friends are established in WoW and have convinced me to try it many times. Everytime it ends up the same though. I blow through content trying to catch up to them as they are constantly giving me stuff that I have to find a place to store when I get to that level. I came here because I enjoyed this game a great deal once upon a time. The only reason I left it was due to my group moving on. This time I am here by myself looking for a new group and hopefully a new group of friends. Not that I don't value my old ones. I still game with them here and there when schedules permit.
Figured I would also talk about RP. As a avid table top RPG player who both plays and runs games I am certainly familiar with it and would not be opposed to an RP group though it is also not required. RP for me has to walk that line of casual/serious though. Nothing wrong with those who want to sit down in a tavern and rp stuff for hours but that really is not the experience I am looking for.

Your name, or character name and race (if known): Saevalwen, High Elf
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits) 40
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Brandywine
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): US MT
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Solo, Group, Raid when I can, casual, time-limited, light crafting
MMO games you’ve played: Pretty much all the big names since EQ. LOTRO since beta.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I'm very friendly, easy-going, zero drama, and always willing to help where I can. I'll be honest, my schedule can be erratic, so I might be on every night for a few weeks, and then I'll be offline for another few weeks. I travel a lot, so I need a kinship willing to put up with me. :)
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): Casual, friendly, not overly demanding of my time, zero drama. In exchange, I'm not looking for demands on the kinship either. Just a friendly group of people looking to have fun when we can. I'm a lifetime subscriber, but I've been away from the game for awhile, just started back up about a month ago.

New Player on Legendary Server

Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): PVE, Raids if possible, Would like to learn crafting mechanics, softcore PVP player if i enjoy it (I am open to either side in the PvM setting as it seems interesting)
MMO games you’ve played: WoW, EQ2, Tera, Guild Wars 1 & 2, Allods, FFXIV, FFXI, Eve Online, Neverwinter, Blade and Soul, Arche Age, SWTOR, Rift
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I am willing to learn all aspects of the game that are required to help function in a guild. Willing to learn required roles in PvE, PvP and crafting in order to help the guild and myself to get better at the game. I am a support player so will likely be levelling all the support classes , and second tanks. Im not a huge Min-Maxer as i am just looking to have fun.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): PvE focused with space for people to learn the game and help build

What is this post icon for...?
Woohooo, got to level 23 and now I can post in the forums(?)!!
I can't tell if recruiters are actually reaching out to people here, but I'm new to LOTRO and it's not clear to me how else to go about finding a kinship (especially on Ithil), so I hope this returns some results.
My name: Cairdwyn (a Captain of Rohan)
Age: turning 30 in June!
Preferred server: Ithil
Location: California, so Pacific Standard time except during daylight savings but hopefully we will be getting rid of that soon
Playstyle: Been going solo simply because I have no other option at the moment! I think I would rather play with other people. I'm not super competitive though (more collaborative) so I'm not really interested in PvP.
MMO games you’ve played: I don't remember the name, I was in middle school and it was text-based!
Why kinships should be interested in you: I'm a perfectly amiable, drama-free person. Also, I log in pretty much every night (this is how I unwind after work), so I'll be around frequently to participate in the kinship. I've been really enjoying LOTRO but I think I will enjoy it much more once I start meeting people and forming relationships (that's what fellowship is all about, isn't it?).
What kind of kinship you are looking for: A mature social space with some questing and a range of experience levels, so I can fit in with the relative newbies but have opportunities to learn from more seasoned players, and someday return the favor for new folks when I'm more experienced myself.
On a side note, I had my first in-game interaction with another player last night. It was a very nice person named Annelore, she invited me to join a brief fellowship with her just to help me gain experience points (she was a level 50 Elf or High Elf), and she helped me find the ruin-web trapper at Amon Ros after I had been running around for several game-hours looking for it. After some of the things I've heard about toxic gamer culture, I was really happy and surprised to have such a friendly encounter. On the LOTRO Reddit, many people also express their appreciation for the mostly mature and friendly LOTRO gamer culture. I hope Annelore wasn't an outlier; I would like to meet more nice people!

I think you'll find that it's not an outlier. LOTRO has its toxic players, sure, but the player culture is very friendly.

Your name, or character name and race (if known): Orginard, Hobbit
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits) 40(As of August)
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): I am currently on Laurelin
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): I live in the US, in Mountain time zone.
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): PvE, casual, RP
MMO games you’ve played: SWTOR(RP), FF14, WoW, Rift, Terra
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I love to roleplay, and love to be part of a group, even if merely socially. I have a good, but slightly skewed sense of humnor.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): A more mature(i.e. not talking about sex or similar all the time, not a bunch of cursing, adult acting members) kinship.

Looking for a kinship (so I'm posting here)
Server: Arkenstone
Main character: Lycaion, elf loremaster
Time zone: GMT-6
Me? Angry nerd. Bought this game at release, quit at level 30-40 when every spineless parasitic imbecile refused to run Garth Agarwen on-level and wanted only to be run through it by max-level characters. Returned several times since then, quitting every time as the game got more and more idiot-friendly, dumbed-down, oversimplified, truncated and repetitive, etc. Bringing my character up to speed (currently level 111) and I'll be devoting some time over the next few months to seeing what, if anything, is new in LotRO, so I'd like a kinship capable of running a diverse array of group content. I am absolutely not interested in powergamer twits mindlessly grinding only the latest instance, or in mealymouthed "we're a family" types which never do anything but enthusiastically greet each other as they log in and out every day. I don't bother with PvP either, or whatever rolesaying passes for roleplaying here. If your posse's capable of intelligent conversation, that would be a huge plus.
There. If that didn't scare you off, pm me or toss Lycaion a mail in-game. I will not be looking at this thread again.

What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): like i mentioned a guild where the members matter and you feel like your actually part of something, not just another help me get loot or huge guild numbers kinda guild

Looking for a kinship on the ithil legendary server.
Hello,
CecilWhite is my ingame name and I'm looking for a kinship on the ithil server. I'm laidback , I play slowly so I'm looking for people to play with and do dungeons with while we lvl together. I am interested in endgame once I get there but I dont' want to be rushed. Currently rolling a gaurdian because I like tank jobs. Please look me up on the ithil server.
A little more information I am 40 years old so I would prefer a more mature kinship and people who just like to socialize. Discord or some kind of mic chat is always a bonus whether we are in a group or not.

If you have interest in Anor, Victory's Secret is a kin that plays without armor and jewelry to increase the challenge. It works surprisingly well, and it makes tanking and support extra important. We're small but close knit and active. Average age is around 40 (I'm 44) and we socialize a lot, though largely through game chat. Toons tend to advance on fast-track or slow-track with a lot of grouping. I know you said Ithil but thought I'd throw it out there :). You can look for Ardith or Wisa or just search on our name.

Hunter looking for an active kinship
Hello, my name is Curandros Glinuial, elf
Age: 51 (rl)
Server: Arkenstone
Location: Pacific time zone, USA
Playstyle: Solo, group, PVE, raid, end-game
MMO games: I've played LotRO since beta, ESO, Rift
I'm a returning player who loves the camaraderie this game has to offer. I love questing with others, doing instances, and helping out players of any level. I have multiple toons, but my hunter is my main, end-game character. I also have high-end crafters. I've done fairly serious raiding in the past with Shadow and Flame kin, primarily the Erebor raids. I also fondly recall running BG with Upon the Edge back when they were active. I pride myself on being able to stick to strats and follow directions.
I'm basically looking for a new, active kinship to call home. My fondest memories in LotRO are those with past kinships, Knights of Nobility, Upon the Edge, and Shadow and Flame.

Your name, or character name and race: man captain, currently level 115, originates from Gondor.
Age: 35+
Preferred server: Laurelin
Location: UK
Playstyle: Casual, solo or group, interested in whatever runs are going on e.g. epic battles, Throne, perhaps endgame raids (in a few levels) crafting is metalsmith full guild rep (plus an alt with full guild rep weaponsmith). I don’t mind a bit of light RP now and again, but probably won’t go in for mega serious stuff. I’m not in any rush to race to end-game, but would like to find some nice people to work with when I get there.
MMO games you’ve played: WoW (a long time ago) and LOTRO.
Why kinships should be interested in you: Competent captain with decent gear for level, willing to help out whoever needs it. Good sense of honour and not too serious. I can craft to Ironfold max guild level (see above) and have most other professions on alts up to at least Westemnet if not higher. Good knowledge of the lore.
What kind of kinship you are looking for: Mature kinship, open-minded, easy going, not too serious. I don’t have voice chat, so can’t join up if that is a deal-breaker. I’m not ultra-competitive so am not worried about having the best gear possible, just enough to enjoy the game. Would like a guild that is active but not rigid in its organisation - would be nice to be able to pick up a group of reliable players now and again rather than relying on LFF.

Looking for laid back, non pushy Kin.
Hi, I'm looking for a Kin to help me in really learning the game. My toon (Veydis) is a Beorning. Currently lvl 20. She is an Explorer and I would like for her to be my main. I play mostly solo due to some anxiety issues but, I also play with my bf (he's been in LoTRO for at least 7 years). He doesn't get a of of play time tho so, I'm mostly on my own. I avoid drama, have a great sense of humor (kinda twisted). I am in my 40's. I am helpful to others. I do have access to discord if needed. I am on EST and play a lot during the day but am also on at night when I can't sleep. I am not into RP. I like to listen to music when I play anything from classic rock to heavy metal, 80's, some pop, r&b and occasionally some hip hop (depends on who it is). I guess I just really need some kin that doesn't mind answering noob questions and maybe giving advice to make me a better player but, also doesn't try to be to pushy when it comes to group stuff. I play Elder Scrolls Online (am currently a Guild Mentor), Fallout 76, Borderlands, Diablo 3, Conan Exiles, I have played some Single player WoW and a quite a few others. Please do not send me a random invite, I would like to receive an introduction mail or DM first. Thank you for your time!

Seeking Evernight Kinship
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Crax (L120 Elf Hunter). I also have several other alts at lower levels.
Age: Old! 50+
Preferred server: Evernight
Location: UK - Mainly evenings & weekends although I sometimes play during the daytime too.
Playstyle: This one is slightly more complicated. Although I have played LoTRO more or less from the beginning I took several years out playing other MMO's and returned to LoTRO about 7 months ago. Since my return I have pretty much solo'd my way from L65 through to L120 (just slowly enjoying the journey really) so my recent fellowship experience is almost nil. Having pretty much 'burned out' doing far, far too much grouping & raiding in my last MMO (Everquest 2) I came back to LoTRO and deliberately chose to have a chilled & relaxed solo experience. I am now feeling ready to get back into fellowships and, possibly, some casual raiding but I am looking for a Kinship that would be tolerant of my 'noobishness'!
MMO games you’ve played: Lots and lots! First started in 1999 with the original Everquest and have spent time in most of the big name MMO's over the years. Everquest 2 stole several years of my life before the grind, the lack of new content and poor developer choices finally drove me away.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I am a mature individual with a good sense of humour. I feel that I understand my class well (although I will doubtless need some help to convert from 'solo-er' to 'fellowship-er'), my character is reasonably well geared (376/380 Embers/Vales teal stuff with a mix of T3 & T4 essences and maxxed out LI's). I am happy to assist kinnies with quests & crafted gear etc. I am comfortable using voice chat (in-game, Discord, TeamSpeak or whatever).
What kind of kinship you are looking for: I am looking for a smallish, active, Kinship with mature helpful & friendly players who are regularly doing end-game instances and perhaps some casual raiding. I am not seeking a macho 'world domination' type Kin but rather one that has pleasant friendly kinnies who have fun whilst at the same time successfully getting things done.
Please feel free to send me a PM via this forum or an in-game mail telling me a bit more about your kinship if you feel that I might be a good fit. Thank you.
-
Your name, or character name and race: Taoec (120 human burg), Stoec (120 hobbit warden) and Witra (120 hobbit hunter) + most other classes levels 65-75 at the moment.
Age: 46
Preferred server: Landroval
Location: CST
Playstyle: Mostly interested in raiding and challenging fellowship instances. But, I enjoy all aspects of the game. A couple characters are pvp rank 6 and my alts have all crafts maxed.
MMO games you’ve played: Everquest and 2 were the first and only other MMOs I've played but have enjoyed my lifetime LOTRO membership the most.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?:
What kind of kinship you are looking for: This will be a pro for most and a con for some - I will sometimes bring a third grade daughter in tow. When I started playing again this summer we worked on an old free to play account together and bought a premium kinhouse for our alts she named Rings of Kittens. It has been fun to unwind after work/school together coaching her as she plays on the laptop and learns the game. She is very much into spending large amounts of gold on cosmetic pets, but has actually done a lot of groundwork to acquire scrolls of empowerment through Minas Tirith quests. But, I lament most of the grunt work, like gathering her star-lit crystals which I've been doing myself. In any case, a hunter was my first character years ago and her hunter is a good one to learn with. And, she actually listens pretty well, so could give bragging rights to a kin that can accommodate an eight-year-old dps machine.
p.s. I got busy years ago and left the game when a member of the kin Remnant. They were a friendly group and I wonder how many of those folks are still around?

A hard worker looking for a good kinship
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Well I mostly play as Curelorn a man captain but I have numerous alts
Age: 29
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): I can go to any server really, I have no current attachments
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): Montreal Quebec
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): I've never done raids but from what I hear they are a pain to do, I can try though. I mostly make my own meta game goals like just having a home in the Shire so I can make and sell things on the market, real laid back. Of course I also like participating in events for the community and helping other players. I'm very all around.
MMO games you’ve played: World of tanks and warships, Ragnarok online.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I'm very productive and giving in terms of my time and personal resources to those who are loyal to the kin. I have a selfless nature in gaming and just want to help however I can. I'm the kind of person that doesn't get bored with hours of farming and questing.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): A kinship that has direction, identity and goals along with an active community. I'm open to role play as well but the most important thing I'd say is being friendly and helpful to everyone who asks. (I wouldn't mind if it was a more canonically themed kinship as well, the lore of the world is quite dear to me)

Your name, or character name and race: Bram, My Character's name is Fadda, A level 120 Warden
Age: 26
Preferred server(s), if any: I usually play on Landroval only.
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): CEST, as in UTC +2
Playstyle: I usually play solo and like to explore middle earth, going through quests, helping people out if possible if they are stuck, that kind of thing and in that way i have bumbled my way across most of the zones obsessively trying to get all the quests done for the story, it always irked me not being able to do the whole end raids to them until i was way over-leveled. Mainly i am just looking for a kin that does some raids once in a while i can join into.
MMO games you’ve played: World of Warcraft.. in which i basically play much the same
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: Someone who is willing to pitch in when around and just have fun with.

Seeking a Crickhollow Kinship. I used to play actively on Firefoot years ago. Was part of Medusa's Reflection if that helps any old-timers. :) I just copied the questionnaire from near the beginning of this thread, hoping to see what happens.
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Character "BubbaDaShmoo, Guardian Man"
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits) 45-50
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Crickhollow
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): USA (GMT-5)
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): PvE, MPvP, end-game, social
MMO games you’ve played: WoW, EveOnline, ESO, FFXIV, GW, GW2
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: Mature, easy-going attitude. Able to devote multiple hours per day to LoTRO activities. Have held officer roles in most of the MMOs I've played, so certainly willing to help shoulder the burden once trust established.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): Looking for an ACTIVE Kin, mainly. One that is T10 and has been around for at least 2 years. I'm a Founder (yup, from THAT long ago) and getting back into the game heavily. Social atmosphere, where Kinmates help others, chat often and enjoy and want to share nearly every aspect of this wonderful game.
Thanks for taking time, and have fun!

Name or character name: Ceredywn (watch the Y!), (111 Captain and several others, including a 85 Minstrel) on Laurelin server
Age: Old
Location: USA; Central timezone.
Playstyle: Solo or in questing or instance groups. I am just at a point where I need other to complete end game content with (Epic Battles) and would love help, if available.
MMO games you’ve played: FFXI, WOW, EQ2, DAoC, DragonRealms (MUD) before that.... I am aging myself now!
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I am a mature adult with many years experience, in MMO's and RP. I have been in and part of many kinships and guilds, and have led several plus 100 people kinships. I was formerly part of the Shades, a music group on Laurelin. Now, I play to have fun, and just wish to be part of a kin that knows what RP is and has a concept of what kinships are about. I am NOT driven by end game, but enjoy chatting, playing music and quests or deed running with friends. I love crafting, and have alts with almost all occupations, but since returning to LOTRO I have been catching up on content and enjoying just being out and questing. I am helpful, and love to help others, or just sit and chill, playing music and chatting IC.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): I'm looking for a kinship with mature people, who understand punctuation and spelling. I want people who understand lore, but do not live and breathe lore, or use it to exclude people. I want the Kin to have a purpose I can align to. I want a casual RP kin that cares more about the players than doing a the same raid every day to farm stuff. I don't want to feel forced into leveling instead of enjoying the game. A functional website is a must. A kinship that will help it's members is a must.
Please feel free to send along a tell or mail in game. I am happy to chat or meet leaders to see if our ideals match!

Seeking Kinship on Laurelin -
My forum name is Bumblesalong (this pretty much reflects my play style, by the way - I got this when I played Lotro before), my rl name is Mel and my highest level game character is a level 39 hobbit hunter called Humfrye. I have recently returned to the game - I was briefly in a kin then but it seems to have become inactive. I have been enjoying playing solo since I came back - I have created a number of different characters with different races and classes as a way of getting back into the game - I am in the process of getting them all to Level 20 for now. So far I have worked through a lot of solo quests and done a lot of crafting. I am currently playing as VIP only on the Laurelin server because I would like to learn more about roleplaying in the game and Laurelin is where I played before. I also like to dabble a little with writing and I have enjoyed reading some of the poems and stories on the Laurelin Archives site. I have also recently joined the Laurlin RP group on Discord - although I am still finding my way around Discord which I haven't used before.
I am not an experienced gamer (at least not in games of this type) and I don't understand a lot of the technical terminology. Although I will solo quite happily I'm prepared to work co-operatively and take part in raids and such but would need a lot of guidance at first. I have read and re-read Tolkien at various points in my life and love the concept, I enjoy casual social chat while gaming and, like I say, roleplay appeals to me. I love listening to the music made by players in-game but I'm not musical myself and I'd happily dance along since I can't in rl any more - oh, did I mention I am very, very old! I am based in UK.
I guess I can't bring much to a kin by way of game experience but I can bring a friendly voice, a sense of humour and, I hope, a lively imagination. I should add that while I was considered sociable in gaming communities I have belonged to I do not seek social interaction outside the context of the game (through social media for example) and I would only consider a mature community. What I would ask of a kin is a little bit of social interaction while playing, hopefully some opportunities to engage in roleplay in some form and lots of advice when I'm not sure how to develop one of my characters. I do not want lots of stuff since it only confuses me and I like to craft for my characters as much as possible - also happy to do so for others if needed. I am not desperate to get levels quickly as I have found lots of enjoyment playing at the lower levels so far - Humfrye at 39 is as high as I've ever got (don't laugh!) and that's only because he has picked up a lot of XP farming in the Shire.
If you think I would fit in with your kin please let me know (I'm guessing you will know the best way better to do so than me) - I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have and I'd love to hear from you as I think I'm going to need some of that advice pretty soon.

Your name, or character name and race : Hi my name is Shawn and i have a problem.. I Prefer Dwarf Guardians.. but .. altaholic.. Morbir or Grum depending on the realm.
Age: I have 18 year old children...
Preferred server(s), if any.: I have toons on Arkenstone, Laurelin, and Landroval
Location.: East Coast USA.. though my schedule is odd so evening to late night PST is probably accureate.
Playstyle: I enjoy most aspects of the game.. not a PVP fan.. I am a serial tank with too many alts and a nasty crafting habit. I can even be roped into some rp now and then.
MMO games you’ve played: It would be easier to list the ones i have not spanning time back to UO and EQ but SWG was my greatest Love.... i have been in and out of Lotro since initial beta but never really found a home here. 11 years of giftboxes clog a new alts inventory.
Why kinships should be interested in you: I usually have an alt that can join most groups to help... or a crafter to fill a gap. I can lead or follow with no drama.
What kind of kinship you are looking for: An active kin with leadership that is not absent. Prefer a large group but size is secondary to activity. Instances and raids are a goal but not paramount.

Name: Joe
IG Name: Padi (short for Padishah)
Age: 25
Timezone: GMT -4; Active times are after 2000 weekdays, on & off all day Sunday & Monday.
Location: North Carolina, US
Preferred Server: Arkenstone. If a kinship on another server is a better match to my personal preferences/playstyle than anything Ark can offer, I am willing to do a full transfer of all pertinent characters.
Playstyle: Mature Casual
What I'm Looking For: "Mature" should be the most important term used when describing a kin that's a good match. I appreciate a healthy dose of self-control as much as the next reasonably adjusted person; however, I will not have my mannerisms and/or diction moderated. Plus, I love to joke around. I don't have high demands on content activity(raiding, moors, deed runs, ect), but I do expect that I do not consistently log on to find I am the only one online. Even if it's JUST one or two days a week that everyone is online, that's fine.
What I Can Offer: Many, many characters(currently @/close to 120: Hunter, Guardian, Beorn, RK--only Hunter is end-game ready); intermediate knowledge of the game(been playing since 09); free goodies(yes, this is a bribe. No, I have no shame); regular activity, participation in kin-oriented events, assistance w/ lower level content for members learning the ropes, coming back from long absences, ect.
In regards to personal qualities/traits, if that were to be a factor under evaluation: the 2 best words to describe me are "Inquisitive" & "Conservative." Infer what you will, from those 2. Anything else, you are better off asking specifically about, in-game.
MMO History: I started on E back in 09. Before that, I played a hodge podge mash-up of misc titles--the only one I ever played seriously were Shadowbane, and Faxion; the former was a hardcore massive PvP title that the chinese eventually ruined(big surprise), and the latter was another PvP game of titanic potential that ended as a failed experiment. Other excursions of any noteable mention were Archeage, Guild Wars 2, Darkfall, Elder Scrolls Online, FF XIV, TERA, and various MOBA titles.
I've spent a fair bit of time creeping(I have a warg, WL, defiler & BA), but since separating from BAoS on E, I have not attempted to socialize with any new creep circles. I am and always will be a hunter main.
The best character to contact me on is Padishah. Thank you ahead of time for the consideration.

Username: Vexzor

Location: Eastern USA (EST)
Preferred Server(s): N/a
Right now I'm figuring out characters and classes, as I'm F2P at the moment. However, after I get the hang of everything I'm going to upgrade my account.
Playstyle: Solo, PvE, Casual, and Crafting
I'm more of a solo player who likes to go between grinding quests to a more casual speed. I also enjoy crafting during my breaks.
Why choose me: I'm a chill person who likes to help people out, whether that is helping them on a quest or crafting (especially when I'm taking breaks).
What I need: Casual, Relaxed, Team-orientated, Mature, Discord
I need a kinship that has a casual and friendly atmosphere where players have the option to solo play or group play as they like. I go back and forth between the two, so this top priority. I would like a more mature kinship, mature meaning no drama, no crossing the line with nasty jokes, and etc. I would also like a mature kinship because I'm a new player and will seek guidance from others who are more experienced. A kin with a discord server would be a must, where the players can discuss things quickly over mic.
Extra Info Open for RP, Illness, Etc.
I'm open to RP, but I'll be awkward at first. I really love lore and etc. and want to build my characters up to have an amazing background and story to share with others. I'd also love to get to know players and their characters also. It's also important to know that there will be times that I'll be ill. I have an undiagnosed health condition that hits me out of the blue, but I'll try to let everyone know if that's the case.
Thanks for taking the time out to read. I appreciate it. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Age: Old enough to have grandkids
Preferred server(s), if any. Ithil
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): On the US East Coast (EST), looking for active kin in US evening hours
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Group, raid, endgame
MMO games you’ve played: Lotro and FW
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I'm a drama-free player that is looking to have fun and take down endgame baddies with like-minded folks.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): I am a Lifer from the beginning that had a lot of fun on Elendilmir in a raiding kin with great folks. I had to walk away around Y4 for personal reasons and came back in Y6 to find all my friends had moved on. Played catch up solo, switched servers to Arkenstone during the consolidation, even tried some new kins. It never was the same and always playing catch up. Legendary servers gave me a chance to start over with the masses, and it was just like coming home again. Joined a really great kin that had a core of 6-8 endgame/raiders and had a blast through SOA and Moria. But by the time Mirk/Ened came out they were getting bored with the timeframe for releases. They left for FF XIV in Sept and never came back :( The kin has now become all social and festivals, which I'm not knocking ... just not what I'm wanting. I enjoy learning new instances and raids, spectacular wipes and all, lol. Nothing beats the feel of taking it down the first time, and I want that back. I'm not looking for hardcore, but I would like a kin that likes grouping, raiding, helping and having fun.

Helpful Hobbit minstrel looking for a Kinship…
Hi all,
I've just completed the introductory quests, and I'm looking to join and support a wider group!
To answer the questions in the initial post:
Your name, or character name and race (if known):My username is Ilkuul (real name Steve) and my character name is Stelladoc, a Fallohide Hobbit. Like I said, I'm a minstrel, and I'm following the Watcher of Resolve trait tree.
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits): OK (gulp), in real life I'm old enough to have adult children. But I'm really young at heart!
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): No particular preference, except as it affects time zones. I'm at GMT (UTC) +2.
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): As above. I live in South Africa.
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): I would like to continue doing solo quests from time to time, and maybe delve into crafting; but I'd also very much appreciate going with a group to learn and to support combined quests.
MMO games you’ve played: Right, here's the crunch: None. I'm a complete newbie. But as I say, I'm keen to learn, and to support others however I'm able (e.g. through healing). Supporting others is what I do in real life, so I have a genuine heart for this.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I can offer a devoted follower, someone unafraid to admit he's wrong and to learn from others, but who will take initiative when needed—though I would not have any aspirations to group leadership. I would really like to build up a supportive role within the group, maybe through my Watcher of Resolve traits, to heal and to encourage in whatever ways I can.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): I guess I'm looking for a kinship that supports one another so that every member can achieve his or her full potential, whether through battle or in other ways. I'd be happy to join a mature group (of any real-life age!) who will interact together in a friendly way while seeking to advance through the game.
Thanks! Looking forward to meeting you!

You should check out Roxxi Manor for a social kin

My character name is Esgaldur. Human, marchwarden and yeoman. I stopped playing back in oh…2014. I didn’t stop for any good reason except that my kin kind of dissolved and I got old. I haven’t had enough Tolkien in my life and I am looking to return and play. I don’t remember what level my character was, but it wasn’t very high and I hadn’t really gotten into any of the expansions. In the process of redownloading the client as we speak.
I was based on Elendilmir, but I see that server is gone so I am 100% open to hopping wherever for the right kin. I play in CST zone and am US based. I would love to find a great kin that respects the lore but doesn’t necessarily RP, does casual raids and leveling. I really enjoyed questing my last go round, so am not looking to blow through content, though I do want to make sure I am progressing. Some moderate organized or regular events would be very much welcome. It will most likely take me a bit to get back into the hang of thegame and reset my ole Nostromo pad back up, but as a warden I loved being able to off-tank and handle some beatings, or main tank small groups when needed. Also since I am yeoman, cooking and farming is my way.

Looking for a Kinship Dutch and/or English European (Laurelin + possibly Landroval) Theme: LotRO-Music
I have been with 2 accounts in a Dutch and in a European-English/Scandinavian Kinship with LotRO-Music as central themes.
Sadly they have both evaporated.
I also do like playing with fellowships in Instances and such.
I am not socially very talented but i am very reliable.
I like all kindsa Music and want to play perfect multi-player Music up until 12.
Lastly i used Plugin SongbookBB 0.97, Maestro 2.5.0 etc.
I have access to a lot of very good songs, but with some restrictions because i didn't make most of them.
We do need to talk about that.
I have worked with In-game voice, Teamspeak, Mumble and now Discord.
Maybe the last Music-loving Kinnies want to migrate or cooperate too.
My purpose is making perfect music in and for LotRO and its community.
We liked to play in concerts like Weatherstock and Winterstock, but also on smaller events in Laurelin.
Finrodel lvl 130 Minstrel on Laurelin. Almost Daily online on European times.

LFK Landroval
Hiya. I'm just returning to the game from several years away.
Some quick details about me. I started playing LotRo at release. I have the founders lifetime pass and all the xpacs as far as I know. I have a level 101 champion and a level 70 hunter and a few various level 15-20 alts. In addition to this game, I've played WoW for many years and I've been playing Destiny 2 for the past few months. I do have voice comms and discord installed.
What I'm looking for? A bit of direction and some reliable people for group content. I have a slew of raid quests and epic quests ranging from Angmar to Moria into Gondor. Just not sure how to navigate the instance and group finder correctly. I also need to get caught up on any new systems added recently. I dropped off just after Gondor was released and mounted combat and skirmishes were a new thing.
I'm pretty flexible with my playtime since I have a job where I set my own hours. I'm on most of the day for the forseeable future. If you've got room in your kin for a rusty, but good player, I'd love to get to know you. Message me here or in-game on my champion Pyrite (101) or my hunter Flaash (70). Thanks for reading.

Returning player to Laurelin
Your name, or character name and race: Real name - Dan; Char name - Angladan; Race - level 74 High Elf Runekeeper (yellow)
Age: 28
Preferred server(s), if any. : Laurelin
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): UK
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Currently mainly solo but keen for more group play although currently only using a laptop so raids are a bit of hard work for it to keep up but 6 man instances are fine
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): Looking for an active kinship who do regular instances together. Currently a westfold armourer - happy to make anything for members of kin and share any materials that i don't use
Quick about me: - I used to play 6 or 7 years ago and my characters were on Withywindle - a since deleted server so started again on Laurelin as character transfers suspended. I was also an RK on there, maxed level of 75 at the time, left just before Rohan was released. Back on my old character I was my kin's main healer for any instances but need to brush up my skills if im to be of any use in a big group, back when i played there was no specialising in 1 of 3 paths so still getting used to that.
Send me a message on here or to Angladan in game if you think i would be a good fit for your kin
Thanks for reading

Looking for Kinship
Your name, or character name and race: Dalgrimnar
Age: 53
Preferred server: Brandywine
Location: EST
Playstyle: Semi-casual, occasional RP. PVE
MMO games you’ve played:
What kind of kinship you are looking for: Looking for a Social guild that also does content as well as having fun events.

Heyo, older player (from beta to Siege of Mirkwood) coming back to check out the game. Getting the hang of things at the moment, sure is a different vibe since going F2P :P
Characters: Thekla, Woman Captain | Elinemil, High Elf Minstrel
Age: 31
Server Preference: Those two characters are on Crickhollow, but they're new and I'd be happy to restart anywhere
Location: USA (PST) but I work at night so am up during typical EU hours
Playstyle: I've always been a solo PvE player who likes to complete every deed in each zone, explore, gather and craft neat things - take my time with the game. I'd like to add in some RP to that, specifically RPing more with music and poetry as a Minstrel, or as a zealous defender against undead creatures with my Captain, etc. I think it's fun to try to match in-game skill with in-game character, even if it's not proper meta. That said, I'm open to raids and PvP too.
Other MMO Experience: Shattered Kingdoms (MUD) back in the day, then Anarchy Online, LOTRO til 2010, FF14. Played many others but stuck with those, still play them occasionally.
What do I offer?: I'll always be willing to help out anytime I'm online and hopefully I'll be able to add a little bit of joy or sorrow to your day with a poem or two. Otherwise I offer patience, and enjoy helping newbies (once I get the hang of LOTRO's ins and outs again).
What kind of kinship do I want?: I'm looking primarily for a kinship that just enjoys exploring and talking together. Doesn't have to be RP focused but being cool with someone staying in-character every once in a while would be nice. If I had my way I'd adore a group of people who also enjoy music and poetry (I'm having fun right now with songbook and lyrically plugins) and want to add some flavor to their server in new and fun ways. It'd be nice to have just a semi-active community around to say hello to or team up with though, I'm not too picky.
-
Hi there. I'm an older player and did dabble with LOTRO about eight years ago and am now getting into the game. I'm a casual player as there is a lot going on in my life but LOTRO is a great escape.
Your name, or character name and race (if known): Dekiyon Elf
Age: (some kinships have real-life age limits) 49
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Arkenstone
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): EST
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time-limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Solo, haven't done any groups yet, would like to try some RP, casual fun stuff, nothing hardcore but I do try to level and would be nice to get into a raid eventually.
MMO games you’ve played: Played WOW for several years but stopped when the Pandas arrived. I had run a Guild for a few years too but am a noob in LOTRO right now
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I don't bring drama to the table and would rather have fun. If someone need things I can craft or needs help I'm in.
What kind of kinship you are looking for.: Casual, RP, one that doesn't demerit because I can't be on 24/7. Probably a small to medium size where I can get to know new people and make some long-distance friends?

Old Player Looking for Kinship - Landroval
Hello all, I am a returning player. Haven't played in about 5 years. Started in open beta and just now coming back. I am looking for an active, but chill kinship. I am a leveler, I use to enjoy monster play, creepside. I have two characters.
Snowhawk lvl 75 Burg (Original toon from open beta)
Eisschild (lvl 79 Warden.)
Pretty new to the game again, since I have been gone for so long. Really just looking for an active kinship with some fellowship and fun. I can be contacted under Snowhawk or Eisschild, since I will be leveling both. Thanks for your time.
-
Hey, I am a long time player, just coming back and looking for a kinship with strong RP on the Landroval server
- Gryphyth, Human, Hunter, 50's (I should note I have many alts so I might use one of them as well)
- Roleplaying
- 12-24
- Lots of soloing, but I love having groups and helping players level
- Again, I have many alts so they may join as well. I love to help, and in other MMOs have run guilds/kinships and I respect the work the admins of kinships have. I like to help and understand if donations of money or supplies are needed for a kinship
- I am in MST in the US, English speaking.

Returning Veteran Player
Heya!
I've been playing on and off since 2011 and I'm looking for a kinship for I have moved from Brandywine to Arkenstone just recently.
Personal
Name: Peter
Age: 20
Country: Netherlands
(Main) Character
Name: Cathildar
Race: High-Elf
Level: 130
Rank: 6
Preferences
Timezone: Not too far away from +1 GMT.
Server: Arkenstone
Playstyles:
- Solo & Grouped PvE / PvP;
- Grouped Raids;
- Casual;
- End-game;
Miscellaneous
MMO Games I played:
- Lord of the Rings Online;
(Since 2011) - Guild Wars 1 through 2;
(Since 2008) - Elder Scrolls Online;
(Didn't stick enough yet)
Why me:
Because I am a funny guy who loves having fun together as a family. I can help others with many things in the game, so that'd be what I can offer best.
But I may also give you a giggle or two while playing PvMP when I feel comfortable. :p
Which Kinship:
I'm looking for a kinship who matches with me in play-style and personality. I can't be the only one laughing at my jokes when nobody else does... ;)
I want the kinship to be ready to help me too and be ready to have a great time while playing PvMP, PvE, et cetera.
Thanks!

Looking for Elrohir kinship on Bombadil
Hello! I'm hoping to join an Elrohir kinship on Bombadil. I'm playing as a stout axe dwarf named Urig.
I'm 25 and in timezone EDT, if that matters.
I'm not very experienced with MMOs, but I'm having a great time. I'm hoping to join a kinship because I enjoy teamwork and cooperation. Happy playing!

Your name, or character name and race (if known): Pudgidor , Discord ( Pudgy#3472)
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits): 36 working professional with family.
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Any, currently on Arkenstone. Has no issue server transferring, rolling a new toon, boosting.
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): CST
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): Right now mostly solo since I don't have any Kin. Highly interested in group play and making/clearing end game content.
MMO games you’ve played: Almost every major MMO--EQ, WoW, FF14, Silkroad, Wildstar, Guild wars 1 & 2, SWTOR, Blade & Soul, Revelation Online, Tera, ESO,
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?:
Ex-hardcore MMO player now turned filthy casual due to adult life ^_^. I have decades of experience in every raid and guild role: Main Tank,DPS,healer,GM, RL, Officer, cannon fodder. I appreciate and sympathize with the effort it takes to keep a guild active and positive. I'm understanding and pragmatic, I admit and take ownership over my mistakes , willing to learn and put the forth the effort to improve. I'm hoping to devote 3-6 hours a week to a raid environment. I suppose my major flaw is that I enjoy to drink while I play ^_^.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters):
I'm looking for a group of reliable like minded people that still enjoying playing this nearly 15 year old game. Ideally, the kinship would have a healthy base of active players that log on for more than just raid night. I'm interested in a kinship that has survived the test of time and understands how to keep a guild running.
As i'm only a level 22 (Captain) i'm hoping the group with be ok with my ignorance and help guide me along until end-game. Once at end-game I hope to be a productive and contributing member to the guilds adventures and goals.

You might want to check out Kindred Spirits, we have quite a few members running groups in the 30-130 level range right now and we pride ourselves on being a casual/social Kinship who run group events so anyone who wants to participate can. We are most active Est-Pst time both in game and in discord with somewhere around 20-25 people on around that time at peak. You can find us at www.kindredspiritskin.com

Your name, or character name and race (if known): Pelissaria (Elf)
Age: (some kinships have real life age limits) 30+
Preferred server(s), if any. (This is not needed, just for kinship info.): Landroval, however happy to reroll if I find the right home.
Location. (Timezone preferences if any, state/country, etc.): New Zealand. I am usually on afternoon/evening EST though so a US based guild would suit better than Oceanaia.
Playstyle. (Solo, group, PvE, PvP, RAIDs, casual, hardcore, end-game, RP, no RP, time limited, crafter, “I don’t know, I’m new to this kind of game”, etc.): RP/PVE (newbie.)
MMO games you’ve played: Played SWTOR off and on since launch, a little WoW and some ESO.
Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I spent the last 18 months in an SWTOR RP guild where I was a JO and high IC rank. The internal politics killed the game for me and now I just want to have some fun. I downloaded LOTRO and I just find the game so much more chill. I am only in the early 20s levelwise so would like to find some people to level with and perhaps do some RP as well.
I am also visually impaired so people who are understanding and considerate are a must for me.
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): See above. But basically one that is nice and friendly, and does some RP and PvE content, as well as helpful to new players.

Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: Commitment to helping other players and participating in group matches. I currently find it difficult to find fellowships for group matches on my server
What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): a kinship that allows me a more interesting and active multiplayer dynamic, that I can count in battles and that I can contribute equally.

LF Kin any server, newly returning
Hello! I am like it says newly returning and quite overwelmed atm of all the quests I seem to have in progress and the Escrow lol I dont even know what I was working on when I left but its been some years. I'm also kinda a freak so please contact me here if you think your kin is for me
. Am willing to travel and start from scratch, I think I would prefer that so I can relearn the game.

Location. US Pacific Time
Playstyle.
I do like to zone out and play solo, especially when playing a new class, so i can really learn my class/trait skills. I love to help too am an officer in a dwindling Kinship for many years, and it gets harder to share playtime as my current Kinship is European, with an 8 + hr time difference. I miss out on a lot. There is no animosity, just bad timing :))
I'm looking for a Kin in my time zone. I started playing about 8 years ago. I play pretty much every day. I have all professions Guilded except 2. I think i'm a well-rounded player. I stopped the grind at the start of Minas Morgul, to raise an Elvin Rune Keeper who's at 114, Linelia. My main is a Hobbit Hunter, 122 Hilava. Then there's another Elf, Lore Master 122 Ialla (Linelia's twin). My other 5 are basically parked and are mostly just for support. 2 of those, a Minstrel and a Hunter are capped at level 50 with a Stone Tortoise for classic content.
If i seem like a match to any Kins in Laurelin, Please contact Linelia in-game, via mail or tell.
Happy Hunting!!

Looking for Kinship on Laurelin Server
Hello...
I have 2 lvl 130 healers & 2 lvl 130 ranged characters and the whole lot of top level crafters.
I like crafting, fellowships, instances and making music in a band.
I make recordings of musical performances in HD. On YouTube.
I play LotRO since the start and continuous, but rather casual.
I have been in Kinships that slowly withered away, i am very loyal, but i start looking for a next one when less than 3 active members are left...
I don't like social talk. I don't really like OOC chat, except when it is related to technical or other things in the game.
I am not an endgame player I'm afraid. But i would like to join in end game raids.
Years ago i was a very good healer in fellowships. But it may have changed since that time (aggro management).
I do have a handful of characters on Laurelin for the Weatherstock and winter concerts there.
I also have access to a lot a very nice ABC's but those are mostly not my work, so i can not promise anything before we talked about that.
My native language is Dutch. I am retired and live alone.
You may contact me with in-game mail on Laurelin.
-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
Don't walk in front of me i may not follow.
Don't walk behind me, i may not lead.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.

Old timer looking for a friendly kinship on Gladden
Hi all. I've been on Lotro since 2007, but with a few breaks when my original group of real-life friends stopped playing. I've come back in the last couple of months and I'm really enjoying the game again and would like to find some friendly people to hang out with.
I've got a 107 minstrel main, Tormell, and 5 level 40-70 alts.
I did a lot of raiding back in Angmar, Moria and Mirkwood days, but I've missed out on everything since then.
I'm really looking for a kinship that's active in the late nights (10pm-3am server time) since that's usually when I'm able to logon.
Thanks in advance.

Returning player looking for a Kin [Brandywine]
Hello to all. I am a returning alpha player and played from 2007 - 2011 in a high level raiding Kin.
I'm 50 years old and am a retired Professional Fire Captain.
I play on Brandywine server and have since SoA.
Timezone is CST
Playstyle is Solo but I would much rather Raid as I come from a high level raiding Kin. Willing to help anyone with anything if needed.
1 - level 95 Hunter (Britton-1) (Name was apparently duplicated during server combination)
1 - level 75 Mini (Bullex)
1 - level 75 LM (Hydrus)
1 - level 75 Hunter (Sennat)
I have come back to LotRO after a long time so I leveled a new Hunter (Sennat) to help me understand the new systems put in place since I have been away. I am a VIP member and have purchased all the expansions and am now working my way though the story to end game.
This will be a little bit different sort of request as I am still the leader of our old Kin (Dagor Dagorath) and have no desire to give up the Kin, the Kin house, and mostly for nostalgia. Our Kin has moved on from the early days of SoA unfortunately. We were one of the first (if not only) Kin to six man the Rift on level during SoA. We completed every instance and raid through Moria and then real life got in the way for a lot of us. But it was a great four years.
What can I bring to a Kin? Patience and humor. I always firmly believed that completing the raids was a great accomplishment but the much greater accomplishment was having fun and making friends along the way. The raids and end game were just the icing on the cake. Fun should always come first. I do not like drama and I will cause no drama. I would just like to play with like minded people that don't take themselves too seriously and are willing to help a returning player. In return I can promise that I will repay that help.
I play at all hours of the day so my time is pretty flexible. Mics are preferred.
If I sound like someone that might fit well with your kin please send me a PM here or in game on any of my characters listed above. Britton-1 will most likely be the character that I will be on at the moment until I reach level cap then I will turn to my Mini as I have always mained a healer.
As I mentioned before, I will be keeping at least one of my characters in my old Kin. But I am not opposed to moving a couple of my other characters.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to meeting you in game.

Name and Race: Thalkeeper, dwarf
Age: late 20s
Preferred Server: Gladden
Location: Southwest
Preference: Group instances and raids, all levels
MMO games you’ve played: LOTRO, WoW, FFXIV
Additional Notes: I am a rune keeper looking for a small to medium sized kinship that does instances and raids on a fairly consistent basis on the Gladden server. I am willing to do either healing or damage, whichever is preferred from my class. I used to play LOTRO up until Siege of Mirkwood and would say I am pretty good at playing the game. I can be reached either by tell or by mail on Gladden server if you would like me to join. Thank you very much :)

Returning player looking for a kinship on Laurelin.
Hello, I used to play LOTRO years ago and recently decided to give it another try. I've played several MMORPGS over the years and some of my fondest memories are from LOTRO.
I'm looking for a kinship mostly to group and level with, though I only have one character at level 25 right now. I'm interested in some light roleplaying I think. I've never tried it before, but I've always been curious about it. I'm not really interested in a raiding guild, rather one that's more laid back. As far as my playstyle goes, I don't have much experience doing anything but soloing and duoing I'm afraid. I like to craft and explore though.
Here's some more specifics about me:
Characters: Hullost, Level 25 Man Champion
Age/Sex: 41/Male
Availability: I live in the Eastern Standard US Time Zone (GMT-5) and have a pretty flexible schedule. I'm available from about 1 PM to 5 AM GMT, if I've done the math right.
Thanks for your consideration,
Skuldi

Player Name - Vex
Age - 29
Location - USA, EST
Characters - I have three mains on Ark currently.
Mains:
- Akelda: Human (F) | Lvl 46 | Hunter | Woodsman
- Vlakir: Dwarf (M) | Lvl 33 | Hunter | Explorer
- Harlandor: Human (M) | Lvl 20+ | Hunter | Explorer
Preferred Server(s) - Any. I don't mind creating new characters on different servers.
Playstyle - Solo, Open to Groups, PvE, Casual, Crafter, Open to RP, Time Limited (sometimes).
Discord - [ Vex#3944 ] If you message me, please let me know you are from here, regardless, feel free to chat with me.
What I'm Looking For - I really want to find some friends to play LOTRO with me.
1. Discord - I would like to have a Kinship that doesn't mind voice chatting.
2. Lore - I'd like a Kinship that is built up by lore and is believable within the world of LOTR. I'm not looking for hardcore RP groups, but I wouldn't mind being in an RP Kinship where I can be inspired to build my characters up and learn more lore when it comes to the games and books.
3. Casual
At this moment in time, I'm not into end-game, hardcore, or PvP. I'd also like to say that there will also be times where I won't be able to play, and I don't want to be the weak link in the chain for other passionate players who do enjoy end-game stuff.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, I appreciate it! Also, if you are an RP Kin, feel free to ask me more about my characters.

strange circumstances
Hello, I would like to casually play Lotro with Oceanic players.
I am from NA, but because of my work hours and school I can only be active during times that are normal for Oceanic.
During the week I would be able to start playing around 7:30-8:00PM AEDT, and weekends i'm much more open.
I'll probably only login a few times a week if i'm being honest, so a casual relaxed kin would fit me the best.
I will be a Champion DPS main and most likely will start on a fresh character or very low lvl one.
Any server is fine, tips on a server with a lot of Oceanic players or kins is appreciated also.
age:29
gender: male

Looking for Kinship on Gladden
I am an 11 year veteran returning to the game after a 5 year absence. I am looking for a casual, drama free Kinship to join and relearn the wonders of the game. Please contact me if you believe I might be a good fit for your Kinship. In game name Mandroll

Looking for a kinship
Main Server: Landroval
I'm a 12 year veteran on LOTRO, and have been playing constantly for most of those years. Just looking for a kin, low in drama and with people willing to support each other. I have several crafting options that I can use to help out members.
I have several toons on this server, including a level 102 Captain. I'm looking for a kin that is interested in helping and assisting its members. I think I've done something wrong in developing my Captain. I'm trying to quest in a level area that fits my toon, and I die every time.
I'm an older gamer, and willing to commit to helping a kin. I just don't want to be in a kin that is only interested in adding up its numbers and not communicating with the people in the kin. I've found too many of those. I'm usually on Landroval in the morning, from around 5:30 am CST - 9:00 AM CST and then a little later. I'll list my Captain's name below:
Captain-Theodenark
Thank you for your consideration.

Looking for a (Dutch) kinship on Laurelin
Greetings, fellow Middle-Earth travelers!
I am a long time player that had a break of a few years, but recently got back to playing and enjoying it a lot!
To enjoy the social aspects of the game, I'd like to join a group of friendly, helpful and active players.
I'd prefer it if (most of) the members are Dutch, as I'd enjoy (the possibility of) meeting up in real life in addition to online.
So, as you'd have guessed, I live in The Netherlands (UTC + 1) and I play mostly on evenings and weekends.
I am a 25-35 year old casual player that has some catching up to do, but enjoys grouping up for endgame as well.
My characters are on Laurelin: my level 105 main, a Man Minstrel called Medicfox, and lower level (spread) alts (mainly used for crafting and grouping up with friends).
My dad plays as well and he too is looking to join another kinship (his old one isn't so active anymore).
He's retired, so very active and he's got several pretty much maxed level 130 characters.
We both are dedicated to LotR(O) and enjoy the game, hopefully in a nice kinship soon! :)
Send me an ingame mail (to my main) or privately through the forums.
