We are small group of real life friends looking to join a larger kinship. We've played together through quite a few MMO's and are getting to the point where we can't solo and our schedules are somewhat erratic to get a group together nightly. Here's the template information for our 4 main characters (though we do love to start fresh from time to time to play a different race or class). Oh, we play on Gladden.

What do you offer kinships?: We are a group of mature adults who play LOTRO to enjoy the game and relax - escapism. We love the environment and love teamwork. We're always looking to improve - coming from a small group who don't really PUG all that often, we would love to learn and get good at different playstyles than we're used to. Above all, we are fun, adaptable and look to give back to the kinship as much as we can.

What kind of kinship you are looking for: We are looking to have fun in LOTRO. That doesn't mean clowning around but it also doesn't mean meticulous attention to detail at the detriment of enjoying ourselves. We want to continue to learn the game, make and play with a growing group of friends, bask in the glow of a quest that was pulled off with good solid teamwork. We also love to take the time to immerse ourselves in the storylines and environment. We enjoy re-rolling new characters as needed and don't look as the endgame as being the only thing to do in this game. Most of all, we're looking to log in for a good few hours of fun, comraderie, and relaxation.

Playstyle: Not a big PvP fan, Don't RP much though I'm sure it could be awesome! I usually solo but prefer being in groups, Would like to see all the things this game has to offer, as I hear nothing but good things about it.

MMO games you’ve played: I think I have tried at least once just about ever MMO P2P thats out there, or been out there. More then anything I have played/play WoW.

Why kinships should be interested in you. In other words, why choose you and not another player. What do you offer kinships?: I am mature, and dedicated. I am a very humors individual and I believe I can bring a good time to a kinship.

What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): I am looking for a casual kin that also does do end game content, but isn't all crazy about attendance and such. Looking for a mature diverse group of people, that are active, and maybe even have active voice chats over vent or any other means. Would like the kin to be somewhat populated as well.

I hope I am not being to picky, I love the community with this game and feel that if I find the right Kinship, that I will be able to fully enjoy it for a nice amount of time.

What do you offer kinships?: I'm silly, sweet, helpful, generous and kind to a fault. sometimes people take advantage of my helpfulness, but i dont mind because i enjoy spending time with people. i dont cause drama, i prefer to stay far far away from it, and have been known to solve conflicts when needed.

What kind of kinship you are looking for: a casual kinship with people around my own age, not one full of teenagers and thier dramas, thier whiney attitudes when they dont get what they want.

Fairly new to LOTRO, played plenty of other MMOs (most time spent in EQ2 and DAOC). Casual player. Never played a single MMO long enough to get to real end-game raiding, but open to that with LOTRO. Flexible and friendly, mature and well-versed in fantasy lore. Enjoy helping others with quests, gear-seeking, and hope for the same. Enjoy crafting and working on cooking, tailor, farmer line with this character. Mountain time, usually avail Fridays and Saturdays some during the day, but will mostly be on a few hours throughout the week after 6pm. Could commit somewhat to kinship times for group events once I get high enough, depending on how much of a committment is needed. Playstyle: Coming back from hiatus, have lifetime so can dissappear from time to time. I got burned out on this game and am looking to rekindle things with middle-earth. I am a very casual minded person that doesn't take things too seriously. this doesn't mean I goof off in a serious situation, but I tend to gravitate towards different things than leveling and questing, such as hobbies, and just plain socializing.
That said, I am a little slow whitted when it comes to games, so I may do something that looks stupid to everyone else now and then. I'm trying to teach myself tanking right now and that's a trip. I do enjoy grouping and dungeon running and try to do those as much as possible, just ask me how much time I spent in the downs with my champion. Looking forward to the new skirmish system.

What do you offer kinships?: Not sure what I myself can offer than other can't, but I will say that aside from this I live Middle-Earth. I've been participating in the Dagorhir Battle Games for a while now and my persona is based on a man from Dale.

What kind of kinship you are looking for: A casual kinship with a relaxed schedule. I like to play the game on my time, otherwise it feels like work. I have no set criteria in this area besides that, but do not be surprised if I disappear for extended periods of time.

Playstyle: no RP, Group, RAID, PVE Casual-Hardcore, Time Limited. I am a very casual gamer lately, but back in the original EQ days I was much more hardcore, but lately all my friends have moved to different games and I just don't have as much fun Solo. I am looking for a Kinship Heavy into Raiding, but also with plenty of mid level characters to group with for group play and leveling.

MMO games you’ve played: Most everything for at least 3-4 months, but the 4 I have stuck with the longest are... EQ, EQ2, Age of Conan, and Tabuls Rasa (Sniff) oh and I usually play Wow for about 1 month then take a 1-2 month break... Every update calls to me, then i realize why I am not crazy about it.

Why kinships should be interested in me: I have a limited schedule as in i need to cook dinner and get my 5 kids to bed every night, but I can easily make myself available at least 1 night a week from 6pm to 3am. I can be on most any night of the week for 1-3 hours and can offer 1-3 very late nights a week. If given a set schedule of play time and Raid nights I should easily be able to work with it. Once I have a Kinships preferred game times I can make sure I am available. To clarify I cannot play 2 hours every night and I cannot play till 3am all the time, but if I were given a schedule I can work with my wife to make sure I am available. I can probably make due with very few missed evenings aside from family event and times when I take my wife out on a Saturday.

What kind of kinship you are looking for: Pretty much one that is happy with everything i have described above. i am looking for a partially hardcore Kinship, one with set times of play, but still large enough to accompany pickup groups if i log on at odd times, and one flexable enough where constant playtime is not needed.

Special Note: I often play while on walking fast paced, 3-4MPH, on a treadmill, This works out OK for me in most cases, but I will make sure I have no distractions and am sitting down for important Quests and RAIDs. Just pardon the zapping sounds as my sweat shocks me while wearing my headset j/k

60 RK with 5/6 rad gear experienced in all runs but DN... I am on west coast. Looking for a cool kin that has a website and vent. Also would be cool if you try to schedule rad runs and other runs as often as possible to help each other out. I dont like playing with a kin that just says lets play things by ear. One that is fun helps players--that is not exclusive--that does not boot people from raids--when they dont understand what is going on--I dont like gamers who are so serious they cant have fun or no time to explain what they need. What kind of kinship you are looking for: Im looking for a kin interested in pvp (both sides), Raiding/end game content, even if kin as a group is not at that point yet (my toons certainly arent). Im more interested in a small to medium size kin than a larger one, and it need not be an established kin either. My name is Jon, toon name Neeslapper (Hobbit), and I just turned 20! I live on the Pacific Coast, although, as long as it doesn't matter to the kin, it doesn't matter to me whether or not the kin is in that time-zone. I'm currently getting enrolled into college so I won't be available in LOTRO everyday of the week, but I do my best to get on atleast once a week. I'm looking to join a friendly kinship (a given) that is active. Active as in will plan kin events every so often and there is someone on most of the time the servers are up. For the most part I'm a solo player, but my goal is to broaden my gaming style and learn to work in fellowships (groups). PvE is what I'm good at but I'll also learn to PvP. I do have a history of MMO's: UO, SWG, WOW. Not a very long list I know, but I'm not foreign to online games. I'm new to end-game content although, on Meneldor, I do have a 65 Minstrel. With the patience of other kin-members I would love to learn more about outfitting for level cap.

It may seem that I don't have much to offer for a kin since my game-time is limited and I don't know everything there is about the end-game (or even all the content in the middle), I CAN be trained! I'm very good at learning as long as someone has the time to fill me in with the information. At times I won't ask many questions, other times I may ask a lot of questions just so I can be sure to learn everything I can. Today I may be inexperienced at certain aspects of the game, but in a few weeks to a month I could be a great asset to the kin.

Just to recap: I'm looking for a kinship that has active players. Meneldor is the only world I have a character on and my character there, Neeslapper is lvl 65. He is my only character but if there is a kinship on another realm I would have not problem creating a new character.

My preferred play style is in a group but in these times not many on at low levels to team up with. I find it fun to do PvE and a little PvP on the side. I do a little of RP now and then but I always have RP on when I am playing.

What do you offer kinships?: I'll be around quite a bit and enjoy working with my guilds, not against them. On DDO I play in a permadeath guild, so group effort at staying alive and trying my hardest to keep everyone that way is something I am very familiar with. If I have the ability to I am always ready to help those in the guild, be it extra pots, or they can use some loot I just received that I have no need for.

What kind of kinship you are looking for. (This one is very important for recruiters): I prefer a mature environment. I don't need people telling me how awesome they are every 2 seconds. I'm looking for a group of people who like to take the quests slow and not spend their time zerging through them, since MMOs are about the journey not the destination.

What do you offer kinships?: I am normally willing to help anyone who needs it as long as I am not already involved in something time consuming or difficult to get out of. I am a mature player who has a range of characters and is easy to get along with. I am generous with my kin members and always strive to be polite and helpful to everyone.

What kind of kinship you are looking for: I prefer a mature, intelligent kinship with members who are looking out for others as well as themselves. I want a low-maintenance kin. Although I care about the good of my kin, and will gladly help my kinmates, I have a full time job, three children (two of them toddlers), and many other interests. I am not likely to post on boards regularly, attend kin meetings weekly, or be on for more than a couple hours at a time. I do NOT want a kin that welcomes bickering, whining, drama, homophobia, racism, or stupidity. I would prefer a kin who's members are over the age of 18.
