Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
I'm a new player trying the game out an am looking for a Kinship or at least a group of players around my level to group up with.
In case a prospective Kinship cares I am 27 in real life. I'm a student and tax preparer. So this time of year I'm busy and may be off for a few days at a time. After April I usually have tons of free time. I also play Warhammer Online but am quickly losing interest.
"- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level"
Fidasaind, Human Hunter, level 20
In addition I'm a journeyman tailor/prospector/forester. I've completed Master Apprentice Tailoring and am working on mastering my next tier.
"- Roleplayer?"
Varies based on the environment. I used to spend a lot of time playing table top D&D and used to worry more about staying in character in MMOs in the past. Lately I've been with a group of players that stuck together for years. So we all were comfortable hanging out in vent rather than talking in guild. I am comfortable in a role play guild. I prefer a casual but relatively mature environment. I'm used to a guild where most of us know each other by our RL names and are comfortable cracking jokes at each other.
"- Raiding?"
I had plenty of experience with raiding in WoW. Most of my raiding time was spent as a mage. My guild cleared ZG all of AQ20 except the last boss and MC preBC. During BC we got through half of Black Temple. We probably could've gotten farther for both but were more focused on PvP. I had some raiding experience with a melee toon also... I had a 70 rogue that did Kara and Gruul's. And some experience healing. My paladin was used in my guild in some T5 encounters.
Due to my schedule this time of year and due to the fact that I am currently just trying the game out I cannot commit to raiding now. I can say that I am a fast learner and rarely turn down an invite to anything when I'm online.
"- PvP?"
Group vs group PvP is truly my favorite part of any MMO. There were many things that I enjoyed in DAoC but 8v8 (or 8vZerg) had to be my favorite. I played every archetype and nearly every class in the game to RR5. My favorite had to by my aug/cave shaman. Since my guild bounced around a lot I only got him to about RR9 but I always enjoyed the roll of my only job to really be to annoy enemy players. That type of utility caster is probably why I also enjoyed Mesmer in Guild Wars and Red Mage in FFXI.
The arenas in WoW were not terribly great but I always looked forward to my 3v3 matches. My team consistently made it to the 1800-2100 rating range. I generally played as a combat or hemo rogue OR a mage OR a paladin.
Warhammer Online should've been the next DAoC but Mythic went another route. I'm sure there are many people that prefer Warhammer the way it is to DAoC 2 but I'm not one of them. 6v6 is rare and unfortunately my guild has been playing together so long that we really have not had a challenge yet. We do run a 12 man setup and chase 1-2 warbands with that but it is not the same as a great 8v8 match in DAoC was.
To me PvE makes a first impression. It tells me whether or not a game is polished and how hard the devs work at a game. From what I have seen, LOTRO has done an amazing job at that. PvP is what keeps me in games for years. I haven't had a chance to try it here yet. If a Kinship that was more focused on PvP showed me the ropes I would definitely love to see PvP in this game.
"- How many hours a week do you play?"
Varies a lot. I may play 12 hours one day and be off for 2-3 days. I'm married and my wife isn't a gamer so I don't play much on Saturdays or "prime time." I'm usually more of an afternoons and late evenings kind of person.
"- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc)"
Basically I enjoy seeing what the game has. So far I've tried to complete every quest I've seen, complete every deed I've picked up, worked on crafting as much as possible, spent a lot of time selling and buying on the AH (is 2g good at level 20?), etc. The one thing I haven't had a chance to do yet is group.
"- Various other information a kinship may find useful"
*I'm a big fan of Tolkein and am really enjoying how much detail went into the game. It's not perfect but it is as good as any MMO I've seen that was based off of an IP (ex: AoC, WAR) so far.
*I prefer Vent over chat simply because I am used to spending a lot of time panning and don't read my chat box often.
*I enjoy recording (with Fraps) and editing footage of games. So if you group with me, you may be on camera :p
*I am trying to get a few friends that are getting burnt out in WAR to try out LOTRO and they MAY join me.
*One last time I am new and am just trying the game. I may stay permanently. I may go back to WAR after tax season. I may try out Darkfall next. I just want to make sure that any Kinship knows that before they invite me.
*I prefer small to medium sized guilds where everyone recognizes everyone. I think one of the things that killed WoW for me was when my guild grew to 60-70 members... half the people I'd see log in I'd ask in officer chat who they were.
*That's probably enough rambling.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Name: Doderick
RP Level: Heavy
Level: 20 Hobbit Warden (recently rerolled from a Burglar)
Info: I'm the previous recruiter for the kinship Guthwine. I left after being demoted because "the need for recruits was gone." (meaning, "You've done such a great job, please leave now.") I've worked with recruiting for over a half a year in LOTRO, and longer in other games. I'd like a kinship where I'm needed in some way, preferably a heavy RP kinship. If you're a fledging kinship and in need of recruits, I'd be glad to help. I know a lot about how kinships work, and what makes a kinship good or bad. I would be an ideal officer candidate, but if that isn't an option, I would still like some kind of use.
Character info: Doderick is a bright eyed, very unserious young Hobbit. He's a physically hardened Stoor and wears boots. He's a Second Shirriff and a Field-Shirriff at that, being promoted from a Scribe Shirriff. He is usually very punctual and varies on his predictability. He holds many friends and ties with many kinships and groups. He is a very social person.
Alts: Level 51 Dwarf Guardian (unkinned) and many lesser crafting alts and such.
Please send me a mail ingame, because I hardly go on these forums and I like to talk to people directly.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Well I wrote that back in '07, joined a nice guild arrr sewing circle - then for some reason which i couldn't immediately recall I left the game a few months later when I was around 26.
Well I'm now based in Australia and seeking any ol'Kinship - though any Oceanic membership would be a bonus!
I'd check to see if my old war band is still about but i'm sure they're all 60 killing balrogs somewhere, and I can't for the life of me recall the group's name.
I distance myself completely from everything I've written below, though I fear most of it remains true.
Cheers,

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
A/S/L: 24/M/Pennsylvania
In-Game Name: Lunatica
In-Game Level: 55 (Minstrel)
Roleplaying: I don't do it myself, but I don't mind it
My guild recently fell apart so I'm looking for a new one now! I'm a very casual player. I solo a lot, but don't mind grouping to knock out quests or to help other people. Sometimes I'll spend my playtime helping someone out in general chat and not getting any XP for the night. I'm not really in a rush to get to the end. It took me from beta until a week before the expansion to hit 50. Although, I guess I'm moving faster now since I'm 55 and didn't really start playing the expansion until January.
I'm mostly just looking for a decent sized casual guild with people to talk to and help out where needed. I've never raided since I hit 50 as the expansion came out. I wouldn't mind doing it at 60, but more as a "if I'm online already" thing. I raided hardcore in WOW before, so I'm not a fan of scheduling many nights around a game anymore. I haven't gotten into PVP yet either, but I might explore that a little once I'm 60.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Greetings,
I am currently looking for a kinship, that is both active in end game instance/raids, PvMP and some light RP. I live on the east coast so my play times are eastern time zone. Normally during the week I get about 1-2 hours of game time during the evening, and it varies on the weekends. But usually Friday-Sunday I am on anytime after 10pm est til I I grow tired.
I used to roleplay quite abit in SWG when I played there on the Valcyn server, but since coming to LOTRO ( I am a founder and closed beta tester ), I have not rp'ed at all. I would like to open up this aspect of my gaming experience.
Toons I have as of now and I actively play are in my sig with vocations. I am leveling a warden at present who is level 47 almost 48.
Not really concerned if the kinship is rank 1 or rank 10,as long as it's well run, members are friendly with one another and the "team" aspect is a vital part of the kinship. When I say that, what I mean is that every member counts, from the level 1 newbie to the level 60 vets. Real life comes first and foremost in my life concerning gaming, and I will never compromise that for this game or any.
I am a family man. I have two kids, 17 and 21 years old and I have been married...well awhile..lol. I have played plenty of MMO's with end game raiding/PvP experience. But stuck with swg for about 4+ years. (yes we all miss pre-cu). Thank you for your time and I hope to hear from someone soon

Just Transfered from Vilya
37/M/East Coast
I picked Landroval after creating a number of starter characters on different servers and logging in during my play hours. I know there are many RP kins here (and I'm not big on that) but I thought it would still be the best fit. My goal was to pick a server that I wouldn't have to depend on Kin to accomplish everything that wasn't soloable including deeds, books, dailys, etc. Having said that- finding a consistent, congenial group to play with is preferred.
As for my time with LOTRO- I try to rotate my play all my toons to maximize my interest in the game; still, I still took a long sabatical about the time Fishing came out and have just returned so I have missed out on quite a bit already. Vilya Realm is a 'ghost server' now with the exception of Moria and I don't just want to enjoy leveling my Guardian, but all my toons.
I'm looking for a Kin that, with time, can help me 'flesh' out my toons; bringing them up to a standard that can contribute to any group or cause. My Gaurd, my most developed character, is stuck on Book 8 and still lacks 'To the King' legendary ability. He never made it into the Rift. My alts are considerably worse off.
I desire a Kin that has active membership across the levels of my alt to Main (31-55). I have no inclination of joining more than one Kin because my alts are too low. A larger, established Kin- 10-15 members logged in during my game times is ideal- enough to help and find help with quests, books, deeds, etc.
I have tried and will now shunn Kins that boast of big numbers but are essentially 10-20 members all with 5 alts each. Nothing wrong with alts- but they can't all play at once and it's my experience that getting the whole roster to log on at the same time is a rare occurence.
I try to get some game-time in 7pm-midnight weekdays and weekends- work permitting. I'm in the IT field and I am 'on-call' every few weeks and/or my hours become irregular for a couple days.
I'm not a PVP fan (I'll reactivate my Wow account for that); but I do enjoy crafting. I'm not in a rush to hit end game; you don't move fast spreading time among 4 characters. I might play my Gaurdian more just because the gold flows faster and I have rent to pay and alts to spoil. (Already nabbed a deluxe house in Shire- 1 Pleasant Street)

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Ingame: Tinuileth, Elf of Mirkwood, Level 17 Hunter
Roleplayer? Light/None at the moment, open to a more roleplay-heavy style but I'd need to ease into it.
Raiding? Someday, sure.
PvP? See Raiding
I play mostly weekday evenings (US Eastern Time), generally have 3-4 hours a night to play, though there are exceptions.
I do a lot of soloing, and I like it that way, but I'm always ready to help a friend by grouping up, and hope they'll do the same for me.
I'm a mature (39) player, and tend to get a little annoyed with leetspeak, textspeak, etc. If you like full sentences, we'll get along famously.
What I'm looking for in a kinship is a tight-knit group who get along well, and are willing and able to provide advice and friendship to a new player.
Whether we're in a fellowship or not, it's nice to have a group to talk to.
I'm a "casual player" in the sense that if it's a choice between the game and going out with friends...I'm going out. Definitely not looking for a regimented schedule, where I'm on the outs with the kinship because I missed "Raid Night" or something.
There's my novel, looking forward to hearing from some of you (hopefully...).

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Hello all. New to Landroval but not new to LOTRO. Looking for a kinship now that i'm here.
Name: Ragrin
Race: Hobbit
Class: Minstrel
Roleplaying: Yes
Raiding: Yes
PVP: Yes probably, but PvE is more important to me.
I am on at least 4 or 5 hours a day, sometimes more depending on work/band practice etc.
Playstyle: I like to enjoy the content by doing quests and instances. Definately enjoy grouping more than solo play.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Hi all. I'm Kethas, a 42 guardian looking for a kinship, and while I'm talking to some people ingame I thought it would be best to advertise here as well.
About me:
I have a very long history of raiding in World of Warcraft, which I played from release day until I started my first year in graduate school last fall. I played a tanking warrior almost exclusively and strongly prefer to play a tanking role in groups. I tried out LOTRO on a whim last winter while I was working on applications and finals and didn't have the time to raid. I loved the atmosphere, graphics, music, and overall immersiveness (if that wasn't a word, it is now) of the game (and the custom music!!). I disliked the interface and controls, which I consider clunky and not as responsive/transparent as in WoW (lack of threat/damage meters, for example, and lack of exact information on abilities and mechanics), and the difficulty of forming pickup groups. I realize the interface/control issue is a tradeoff for immersiveness; I just think LOTRO swings the pendulum way too far in the direction opposite of WoW. What sold me, back then, on picking up LOTRO was a trip to someone's Bree homestead while I was on my trial account; LOTRO is, simply, a very beautiful game.
I decided to start playing again recently, after I settled into my grad student schedule and started to have some free time. In the short term I've been trying to assemble groups for various instances so I can get my feel back for the controls, and tanking. In the medium term I'm looking for a large kinship with many players around my level to help with questing and instancing. In the long term I'm interested in a raiding kinship so I can experience the kind of camaraderie I enjoyed in WoW, just now I won't be playing with quite the intensity I have been (previously I'd been raiding 4hr/night 4-5night/week on top of any 5-man groups, questing, reputation stuff, guild management, etc.)
I play primarily to enjoy instance grouping with nice, enjoyable, competent company. For now, that means 6-man instances, and as it's quite difficult to assemble a group and even harder to assemble one that can proceed through, say, Fornost without disbanding halfway through, I'd really like to find an appropriate kinship. Later on that will mean raiding. I don't RP significantly; while I do have a fairly extensive history of tabletop RP, and I'd probably involve myself on occasion in any RP activities a putative kinship managed for fun, it's not my cup of tea - I just don't find it as engaging or as enjoyable as grouping. I was overjoyed to find fishing added to the game, and have also been keeping current on metalsmithing and tailoring. Once I'm 60 I'll probably play PvMP now and then for a bit of variety, but my interest will be primarily raiding.
For the nitty gritty, I'm 23, male, and am on the east coast, although I play in fairly broad hours and so would probably overlap significantly with a west coast kinship too. I'm currently very focused on my 42 guardian and play him primarily as a tank. I'd consider playing a minstrel; any other class is very unlikely.
About you:
You're one of two kinds of kinships:
1) You're a kinship with a broad range of levels and focus on helping people assemble for group quests and instances. You're either quite large or your members are on very frequently, so as to make sure people have plenty of partners for grouping. You may or may not have significant RP activities, but if you do, they're optional. You may or may not have PvMP activities, but if you do, they're optional. Efforts to match crafters with kinmates that need services are a plus, as would be regular instance groups.
2) You're a medium to large kinship consisting mostly of 60's that focus on raiding; however, many of your players have alts that could be potential grouping partners. You genuinely need a tanking guardian for your raids. You're okay with taking a level 42 character, with the understanding that a) they level quickly and b) they have an extensive tanking background. Most of your members make most raids. Off-color voice chat banter is fine, but it doesn't interfere with folks having a good time.
If the above has piqued your interest, please PM me here or contact me ingame on Kethas. I'll be interested in:
-the approximate size of your kinship, and how many folks are usually on during peak hours, and off hours
-whether you're east coast or west coast, and what your peak hours are
-if you're a raiding guild, where you stand, raiding-wise
-the timing of any regular events (raids, social gatherings, etc.)
-which classes you could really use, and which you're pretty much set on
-how old your kinship is and where you see the kinship going
Thanks for your time; looking forward to hearing from you.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Hello Landroval!
I am looking for a friendly Kinship. I am currently a Level 9 Elf Minstrel, and the server seems pretty barren if you aren't in a Kinship, so that's why I'm looking for one. I live in the US and play usually 5:30/6:00PM- around 9:30/10:00PM CST. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien's work, and love to RP as well.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Good day everyone, now my name is Niko and I am an old player coming back to LOTRO after far too long. I originally rejoined as my younger brother wanted to play (in case you are wondering I am 25) but I have once again fallen in love with it and am amazed at how much better the world is a year or so on. Now I was originally an Elendilmir (since I am from NZ so Oceania time zone) and any oldies from way back might remember Nikoborn who was my LM there, especially if you were in Snowbells’. So here I am looking for a friendly roleplay kinship that is willing to let an oldie back and preferably have a decent player base in Oceania time.
Characters: Valuial (Elven RK 16) and Nikoborn (Male LM 7)
Roleplayer: Oh my yes RP is very important to me and I do love to roleplay. I tend to stay in character most of the time when fellowed.
Raiding: I have and do enjoy it
PvP: I prefer Free to Monster, but both are a lot of fun
Playstyle: Quester and not a big fan of soloing unless I have to.
Other Info: I would prefer a newer kinship

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Hello there! My name is Nanfrith.
..What is that you said? Answer a few questions? Why, sure.
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level? Well, I would prefer not to brag about any of my adventures and accomplishments in lands far away (( other servers )), however I am especially adept at the ways of runes and lore. But no style of fighting is beyond me; I will do whatever is best for the team.
- Roleplayer? Aye. If i wasn't.. Well. I probably wouldnt be here. I am looking for a medium to heavy rp kinship (not just 'accepted', por favor ) where we are IC in kinship chat. Well.. that'd be nice at least.
- Raiding? I am good enough at it, and I know every dungeon up to helegrod ( and about 70% of CD, but every other dungeon has a map imprinted in me head ).
- PvP? Its fun.
- How many hours a week do you play? Eh, depends on how much fun Im having with you guys.
- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc) All of the above? I enjoy exploration and taking on hard, lower level tasks. I have always dreamed of getting a group of people under level 17 to take on the Great Barrows. That would be a feat of never-ending renown, and you would have my heart for ages to come. Teamwork is good.
- Various other information a kinship may find useful
Alright, here we go. Completely OOC for this. I have been playing since Open Beta. I have a 50 cpt on Firefoot, along with multiple alts in the 30's. After about a year and a half on firefoot, I re-rolled on Silverlode after spotting a kinship I hoped might be perfect for me. It wasnt, and I started my own kinship. It was a success and I had the opportunity to play with some of the best people I have ever met in-game. As leader, I knew everyone in the kin and had conversations with each personally, which is something. But the rest is history, that kinship is long gone. Now I am considering re-rolling on Landroval, and looking for a good kin.
Notes: I am 15 years old. However, most people find they can waive the age req. if needed.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Greetings, everyone.
Like many others who have posted, I too have recently resubscribed to LOTRO, and am having a lot of fun. However, I'm finding it a bit lonely, and would like to join a friendly casual kinship. I log in almost every day, though LOTRO is not my only game, and would be happy to join in kinship events. I'm especially interested in learning the ropes of group play, and seeing all the wonderful content that would be hard for a solo player.
As to the questionnaire, here it is:
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
I'm having most fun with Bluella, my level 15 Hobbit Burglar. I also have a level 6 Dwarf Rune Keeper that I'll level. I have other alts, but mostly for crafting and RP.
- Roleplayer?
Yup, love RP.
- Raiding?
Never done it, but I'm definitely interested.
- PvP?
Not really. I also play Warhammer Online, and get my dose of PvP there. I like LOTRO for the PvE and puttering around (love crafting).
- How many hours a week do you play?
I log on almost every evening, and play for at least an hour, usually more.
- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc)
I love exploring and crafting (thus my slow leveling), but also the quests. I enjoy grouping up when there are people around, but am happy to solo if nobody's available. In other words, very easy-going.
- Various other information a kinship may find useful
I'm an older gamer (in my late 30s), and only started gaming last year, so please be gentle :) . I work very well in groups, and will gladly take constructive criticism. I'm very interested in making the most of my Burglar in group situations, but I haven't learned how Conjunctions and FMs work yet (though I have an idea). I'm also completely drama-free :) and tend to see the lighter side of things like wipes, so no raging tantrums from me. Finally, I'm a professor of literature, and absolutely love the literary aspect of the game (both the source material and the way the Books are strung together), and would love to find others who also love lore and words.
Oh, and music! I have instruments, but haven't tried playing anything. Would love to learn more about that too.
Thanks for reading this!

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
In your post, please include:
- Draxle, Dwarf, Champion, 8th
- Light Roleplaying / Gamer in General
- Would like to build up to be able to participate in 3/6/12 man raids.
- Mild PvP'er.. Not my focus for sure.
- How ever many the wife allows.. No really.. 15-20 hrs.
- I think my play style ranges all over from Solo'er to explorer to grinding when needed. But above all else I enjoy grouping with people and enjoying the content.
Well, as for myself in RL I'm 39, Married, play to many games (according to the wife) and really enojy the LotR's. I beta tested LotR just before it went live and wanted to play but I had other commitments at the time. So, I'm pretty much a complete noob when it comes to LotRO but I'm a vet of many MMOs. So, I'm looking for a guild that is more adult in average age, understands there is a RL out there and things that come with it. Also, I'm looking for a guild that doesn't mind grouping with lower level characters to help them enjoy the game, not power them up so they can just raid. I can do that on my 2nd, 3rd or whatever character. I'd like to enjoy the game on my first.
Well, that's about it.
Thanks
Fynious (Aka Draxle)

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Checked current kinship stickies. Many websites down or not loading properly. Not sure if this sticky is still read but I'm posting a quick note here as well.
-------------
- Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level
I'm in the process of re-rolling as I've just recently returned to LOTR from a year-long disappearance. Still deciding on storylines atm. I am however going to be creating a Man Minstrel as my main.
- Roleplayer?
I have been happily roleplaying for over a decade now. Mmo's, over 5 years. I love it.
- Raiding? While it won't be my main focus, I'm definitely interested in trying out LOTR raiding.
- PvP? Not too interested. I might do Creep-side fighting occasionally.
- How many hours a week do you play? 15 hours should be about average.
- Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc) My playstyle switches to what is needed. I'm very good at leveling alts, can solo efficiently, and I'm always curious about what's behind the next corner.
- Various other information a kinship may find useful
While I'm not up to date on everything, I'm quick to learn. I'm pretty self-sufficient and helpful in-game and in guild forums. I absolutely love the music system, so a bard-type kinship would be fun. I also really love making and participating in machinimas.
I play early afternoons to late evenings Tues-Thurs and Saturday nights. I can sometimes be flexible with this for a guild meeting or RP event.
Special note: If by the time you read this post you find I have found a kinship, I'd still be open to helping out any friendly people looking for a female voice actor, camera person, or extra music player in an in-game concert.
Feel free to pm me here or e-mail this username at cogeco (dot) ca
Thanks and take care!

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Ingame Name, Race, Class, and Current Level - I currently play Morinar, a male lvl 18 Elf Rune-Keeper and play Moriwynn a lvl 14 female human guardian. Morinar is and always will be my main...Moriwynn is around mostly as a crafting helper.
Roleplayer? - I like the idea of roleplay, but don't really want to do it all the time.
Raiding? - I want to see and do all the raids once I get there.
PvP? - Not really...will probably mess around with it but definitely not my focus.
How many hours a week do you play? - I generally play in the evenings between 8 and 12 mountain time (I don't play all of that time, just during the block). I generally play less on Friday and Saturday nights (do stuff with my wife), but often play Saturday and Sunday during the day/afternoon. All in all I play maybe in the 10-20 hours range, sometimes more if I really get into it.
Playstyle (explorer, grind-heavy, soloer, etc) - I really like small groups for leveling and I enjoy doing instances in full groups. I haven't grouped much so far as I don't want anybody to mess up my undying title. I find that I solo more than anything only because it's the easiest.
Various other information a kinship may find useful - I am coming over from a year of WoW playing. There I played a warlock and did basically all the endgame raids and instances so I have experience in those sorts of settings. I'm mostly looking for a leveling kinship right now, but if it could convert to endgame when I get there, that would be good. I'd like to see all the instances and group stuff as I level without being run through stuff. I'm an adult player (26) and would rate myself as serious but not necessarily hardcore. Finally, with an RK as my main, I'd like to be a healer rather than a dps as a break from what I did in WoW.
PM me or send me a tell in game with questions or to tell me about your kin...there seems to be a lot on this server so I want to make sure I pick a good one. Thanks.

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Hello! Looking for a kinship!!
This Character is actually my new alt. character.
Character Name : Ferah, Elf, Champion, Level 12 (Just made her yesterday.)
I like a little Rp, but I dont want it to be the basis of the kinship. I like storylines and I love being social, but I dont want it to rule my gameplay.
I play almost everynight. I am on -ALOT- (sad..) mostly from 8pm-4am is when I'll be on.
I like to group up and grind, or find one or two others and knock out a bunch of quest. I also like to relax and have friendly chats while I craft or whatnot.
I'm 24 in RL, so preferably a mature kinship.
Like I said, this is my new alt. character. My other two characters are level 52 and 30. They are both in a small kinship. I am looking for a new game experience with a larger, more organized kinship!
Thanks!
(Oh, if you want to contact me on my other characters in game other than Ferah.... Kleeho, and Tulah!)
Thanks!

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Husband & Wife team plus a couple friends are looking for a kinship. We range in age from late twenties to late thirties and thus would prefer a mature environment.
My main is a level 36 loremaster. My husband has a level 36 guardian, and our friend plays a level 40 minstrel (we're all human). We have another friend who's trying a hunter, but he played LOTRO in the past and has a 38 guardian on another server that he may transfer. If so, my husband will probably switch to his champion. My loremaster's name is Iradis (she's currently in a silly kin we made up just for the purpose of having an easier time chatting).
We're not roleplayers. As for raiding, we've all done so and enjoyed it in past games. I personally doubt that I'll be able to raid in LOTRO since I'm now a mother to a very active baby who's also a restless sleeper. The others probably aren't thinking about it right now but may well be interested down the road. I'm sure we'll all dabble in pvp a bit, but I doubt it will become a priority.
We all play quite frequently - nearly every evening and a good chunk on weekends. We are PST and so usually log on anywhere between 6-8pm PST on a weeknight and at various times throughout the weekend. As far as playstyle goes, we really enjoy a variety of activities. All of us craft and solo at times, but we have the most fun when running a competent, enjoyable fellowship. Most of these have been PUGs so far, and we'd like to find people with whom we could play more regularly. We mainly want to play our classes to the best of our ability with a group of friends.
Please contact me if you think we'd be a fit for your kinship. Thanks! :)

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
Looking for a kinship thet fits
Currently lvl 56 Rune-keeper; been playing Lotro for 16 months and have been in several kins but haven't really found the right fit despite making many good friends.
I would like to get involved with an RP kin Oceanic if such a thing exists.
I really do enjoy good lore based RP, Im familiar with the works of Tolkien and whilst not an expert I have a good knowledge of the Lore.
I prefer my roleplay as part of the adventure to enhance the game experience as opposed to sitting in the "pony" telling stories ot getting involved in on line relationships. It has been dificult to find a good Oceanic kin that fits. Im also experienced in raids and pvmp both participating and leading. So if you are an Oceanic kin or a kin with an Oceanic contigient I would like to hear from you.
I play several hours most days.
Dargalas Elf Rune-Keeper

Re: Post here if you can't find a Landroval Kinship
I have several characters on a different server, highlighted by 3 level 60s. They are a champ, burg, and RK. Champ and Burg in full radiance, and the RK has 3 pieces. I'm looking for a casual kinship that regularly schedules the Watcher and Narnuan (when open), and is preparing for the Book 8 raid.
I'm looking to transfer, so it's likely I'll have several questions for those that contact me so that I know I'm making the right choice. I am a lifetime member, so I don't plan on leaving the game anytime soon. Please contact me via PM, and I'll get back in touch ASAP!
