Such an experience would have me first checking my connection to the game servers to see if the problem was nearer home. I do that with a tracert in a command window. If it's my ISP or a backbone internet issue there's little to be made posting here. The last months has lead me to always monitor things with a tracert gls.lotro.com a mouse click and two key presses away from running and Task Manager monitoring one click away. If you monitor these regularly you get to notice obvious differences to the norm. Others might suggest more extreme measures, I'm fine with simpler discrete checks.
It was purported that measures were put in to help the highly baggaged character loading in the update but very thin on details. The Evernight "fix", something different(?), was supposed to be rolled out to other servers but got no mention in the recent notes. Despite their years of experience delivering a Hotfix seems like something to stumble through. I gave up trying to play the evening of the hotfix. I wish they were as thorough as you were with your play session experience.
The worst of the summer's server stability issues never got SSG to take ownership and tell us what happened and what was done to resolve things, for good. So we can't know if they can return again at any time. Your experience certainly looks more akin to those issues. I never can tell if we are being fobbed off by our CM or others are fobbing off our CM and he's just passing it along. Seems like they are following a path littered with rakes and they manage to tread on every one.
But regarding the "naked" load and yard display, it's still working well, other issues aside.
